  1. Now that the dust has settled on his departure how to you see Adkin's tenure at SFC? If I recall correctly last Friday you said you wouldn't be attending any more games at St. Mary's this season in the wake of his dismissal. I might have misunderstood that though.
  2. By the by but is Aaron Martin in any of the photo's posted? Did he make the trip?
  3. That doesn't even make sense. Epic fail, again. Walter giving lessons in grammar and literacy. Priceless.
  4. I see we're again being linked with Biglia so maybe this is on the cards. The Coutinho deal is very quiet with him saying he wants to stay and I guess the Astori was an either / or situation with Forren so that would appear unlikely. Boruc is looking like he may be a good solution in the problematic goalie spot so I can't see us doing anything there in the short-term either.
  5. Tell Punch to put his seat-back up for take-off and landing please.
  6. Be interesting to see where Nigel next manages
  7. Twitter?
  8. What have you heard Mike?
  9. Blasphemy! Burn him at the stake.
  10. New managers are lined up ahead of departing managers time and time again. If you think that's not the case you are being romantically naive about the yesteryear of football I'm afraid.
  11. The gang got together and gave him a good hiding on Friday as well. Strength in numbers and all the bravado.
  12. That's Jordan Sibley's job not mine! I appreciate the Man Utd 'argument' which has been well quoted did not directly affect the team's performance in a negative way. However, referring back to the OP it did not achieve what it set out to do and that is remove the Glazier family from the helm.
  13. I appreciate that and I think the protest was agood one in respect that it was highly visual to the media and wasn't negative towards the atmosphere at games. The reality however is that even such a well orchestrated and supported campaign like that of Man Utd has not achieved it's one single goal.
  14. Simple really, if you go by the agenda of 'MUST' it hasn't worked.
  15. The Glaziers still own the club I believe which would suggest it hasn't really worked.
  16. The Glaziers aren't the owners anymore then? Seems to have worked then. I actually think it was a good protest in that it was highly visual but didn't impact on the team during the course of the match, a win-win so-to-speak. The way some folks are talking on here I can see ours changing the whole atmosphere at the ground, especially if we go behind with a massive detriment to the team. That's not going to help.
  17. But thousands of fans already owned the livery at that point but they've clearly stopped wearing them.
  18. I said 'pretty much'. Watch the video I posted, I don't see the swathes of gold and green that there were early last year.
  19. No and they've pretty much even given up on the gold and green colour wearing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeN55FfYMTc
  20. The Man Utd protest is virtually non-existant today isn't it. Maybe they realised it wasn't going to make any difference?
  21. This is completely the norm in the world of football today. You do realise that don't you?
  22. I seem to remember a certain group of posters ripping in to the two fellas (one being the Corrie actor look-alike) for chucking their season tickets back. Seems OK now though. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37594-I-wonder-if-these-two-are-going-tomorrow&highlight=corrie
  23. A change of manager was always on the agenda, it was when not if BUT how did the new man get on the radar? Hardly a managerial career of note so far. Strange.
  24. 'Vial' as well, like a small test tube?
  25. He's surrounded by pretty much the full compliment of the gang. He ought to give up now. Raise the white flag.
