The conditions stopped us playing how we would of liked - maybe I'm being overly generous. He got taken off as he was the fatest player on the pitch and extremely unfit. He did some good stuff but he's an annoying so and so. Every time a player beat him he tried it clip their ankles but fortunately he's so slow he missed on most occasions.

I don't disagree with that view, however, Cortese's 'vision' potentially clashing with that of the Liebherr family could be the sole reason he left, it could be a contributory factor or it might not be a factor at all. As mere fans we are not privy to the internal workings of the Club so it can't be said for certain why he left.
