Still not back to full fitness following his op and a follow-on niggle. It will be L1.
-
Could he have served is ban over Xmas whilst out injured (had we not appealed)?

Are we one of the hardest teams to beat in the league?

You should put your funny picture on this thread as well. -
He was on a yellow and probably could have had one earlier too. In the atrocious conditions he could have easily got a second without doing too much wrong. I'm guessing that was at least part of the reason. As for Gaston....

Personally I'd rather see Yoshida in there but as you say we've got what we've got and whilst they're not up to the required standard they're not going out of their way to let the team down intentionally. Hopefully the glaring deficiencies in our squad will get addressed in the coming weeks.

It doesn't mater whether you post as dune, cheese on toast or whatever you are still the same tiresome bore.

He was forever slaughtering Lallana in his early years too when anyone who knew even the slightest about football could see he was a cut above the rest and destined for great things. -

I don't know if the club doctor was in the Chapel but that would be a fairly unusual bone break if Boruc were not to play again this season. In saying that I hope we're in the market for a couple of players in January, one of which is a 'keeper. -
Comedy gold right there. I didn't realise possession to goals ratio was a key metric but an interesting concept. I am still keen to understand how we have managed to score goals despite you claiming we don't when we have the ball. Genuine question.

How do we get our goals?

What I find so encouraging is that we can chop and change the team (mainly through injuries in this case) and still give a great team performance with the emphasis on the team aspect. Players come in who have been out of the first 11, indeed the squad, and give great performances. We have great depth, even if, on paper, some of these might be considered 'lesser' players than those getting regular games. MP has clearly got the whole squad motivated, fit and focused. -

Wrong forum Glasgow. Maybe you could resurrect your Osvaldo thread instead. -
Thanks Bearsy, that clears it up.

After watching the 6 goals go in at the Emirates last September it will be interesting to see just how far we have come in 14 months. Two draws.
-
The thread's not about 'gash' it's about 'Norwich going for it'.
-
Depending which of today's paper you read (there was a marginal difference in stats between 'I' and the Mail) then Boruc has the highest shots on targets vs saves ratio in the premiership so far this season. He's been quite an inspirational signing and instrumental in where we are currently stand it would appear.

We can start to worry when Pochettino rips in to the fans like AVB.
-
It can't have been easy scribing an autobiography with his claim of not being able to read or write.
-
Beattie's second touch was always a tackle and he didn't turn out too bad.
-
Isn't he just. I've been a huge supporter of his but he's not a the point I would have thought he would have reached tbh.
-
Funny ol' game footy. Reading some of the comments on his performance last week you might have thought he was one of the worst players to have ever pulled on a Saints shirt.
-
I can only go by the commentary and reports but we had plenty of chances that on another day could all have gone in. Was that the case from someone who saw the game? I'd be more worried if we weren't creating any chances as opposed to not finishing off those we do. I'm sure they will come.
