At right-midfield?

Is that a pun reference his size? Same old story: young lad with a dozen games under his belt in league 1 decides that he is much better than the standard he has been playing or will be playing. So much for serving your apprenticeship. I'm sure NC is working on getting the best deal for the club and off-load a want-away player. He's been poorly advised with his interviews.
-
It's OK. Not keen on the red socks though.
-
It's starting to have that feel of a player engineering a move with these attributed comments. He's not short on self-belief that's for sure. Take the money (and I have every confidence NC will get the best possible deal) and invest in someone who wants to be here.

A strange signing of true, don't really see too much benefit versus the personnel we already have in this position

Remove the 'lol' and you'd be right.

Cork met with Cortese 10 days ago and was made an offer but told he had 24 hrs to accept. Cork didn't take kindly to this ultimatum....

Ali Dia said it too

Biggest Flop Signing & Low Expectation That Came Good
Greenridge replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
I'm sure it's already been noted as we're 3 pages into the thread but Neil McCann is right up there for me. Utterly awful. -
I like this but would prefer to see a slight modification to the stripes as it reminds me a little of the Tesco Value brand
-
All with different men at the helm both in footballing terms and upstairs so no real trend to analyse.
-
The opening few comments from Lawrie seem fairly typical of his veiled digs at the current regime, he still struggles to surpress his feelings.

Doesn't deserve a thread of it's own and as this is a Championship Manager thread it seems appropriate here......Shearer is in talks to take over from Dave Jones at Cardiff. Seems a bit left-field that one.
-
Birmingham apparently seeking permission to talk to Steve Cotterill to fill their vacancy
-
NC has made it a policy to conduct his dealings off the radar and without the need to fuel gossip and speculation. Don't see any reason why he should change this approach.
-
So in only 10 weeks that Pearson was here you are able to determine that Adkins is head and shoulders above him? Interesting.
-
Not sure on what you base this argument, you can't use stats as they both were at the Club at very different times under very different circumstances. Well done to both, two of our best managers in recent times.

Was impressed with Stephens, alot of the play went through him, nice and simple, kept it moving. I honestly wasn't impressed with Dickson but seeing as pretty much everyone has him as their MOTM I'll shut up lol! I also thought Richardson offered little going forwards but all in all a very tidy and competent performance and afterall you can only beat what's in front of you.

Apparently originally commissioned to go in Harrods before he sold it off so he put two and two together and came up with FLC lol!
-
He would get paid his full current contract either way, just a question of how much the two clubs split the costs. Never heard of a player getting loaned out and receiving a lower salary whilst still having a valid contract at the parent club.
-
Isn't the plan for him to come on loan, at least initially in which case his wage will be guaranteed at his current contract rate, just a question for SFC and Reading to thrash out who pays what. Whatever may or may not happen at the end of the loan period is another matter for negotiation altogether.

It is of course premature to be even thinking about a change, NA needs time to mould this team and to decide on his best 11 which I don't think he has at this point in time. I was chatting with someone last week about the players Adkins has brought to the Club in his short time here and other than Butterfield I couldn't recall which of the players he brought in is getting a regular game? Can someone with a better grasp on the comings and goings clarify this?

This is about a Football Club not a Company...oh wait lol. It's about PR and it wouldn't have taken much to have a couple of people there representing the current set-up regardless of any other factors. Now I'm not a LMcM fan but I do appreciate what he and all the other attendees have done for our Club in the past. Whether Cortese had good reason to be, shall we say, frustrated with some of the attendees recent vocal angst against the club he could easily, very easily, have turned this into a positive PR of the Club (and himself) rather than, at best, a split view on his actions.
