  1. Sky did then have backtracked - at least on their headline page.
  2. Looks like they had a good night!
  3. Seems like the Mirror visit this forum too... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-eye-hatem-ben-arfa-8886650
  4. The Mail on Sunday have caught up with this story. Not a particularly complimentary article as you can imagine. Sorry, can't find a link. I read it the old fashioned way in the paper today. Seems they are a little behind the times if the partnership has been terminated however.
  5. It hit the back of his elbow on his right arm which he had tucked hard against his body as possible. Never a penalty but it got us off and running.
  6. Of course it was hence why every match report refers to it across all media.
  7. It's really not relevant who was at fault. This sort of thing shouldn't be happening and is utterly embarrassing for the club.
  8. Absolutely. Targett had an OK game but he's a mile behind Bertrand. If Sparta were going to score tonight it would have come down our left side. Fortunately they were poor. Very poor.
  9. Oozing class.
  10. I'm more concerned about Sparta's lack of shirt sponsorship. Outrageous.
  11. He'll be on the banner before sunrise.
  12. I'm struggling to see where Hojbjerg is meant to be playing. Be good to see him more involved.
  13. Any thoughts on the game? More goals to come I reckon.
  14. Maybe it was Austin who went against the grain?
  15. Tadic and Austin - could that have been any more embarrassing for the club. Shocking.
  16. Talking of changing your tune how about you make a post, just one, about something to do with the game.
  17. He's the rough part of the diamond.
  18. What about your logic of saving the team for the next Prem game? Make your mind up.
  19. Sky's involvement put an end to hooliganism? They claim a lot of things but I'm not sure they can take the credit for that!
  20. Did he say that was the timeline for playing or returning to training with the first team squad?
  21. Average? Youngest player to play for Arsenal, 2 FA Cups, represented England at U16, U17, U19, U21 and 34 full caps under two different managers, played in the World Cup Finals and European Championships. Average indeed.
  22. I think it was just a convenient excuse to use at the time Whitey. Much like bagpuss.
  23. He needed that payout to afford time off?! Strangely though he didn't have the operation to several months later I seem to recall. Maybe you're getting confused with ol' 'Arry and his excuse for leaving Rangers.
  24. For what it's worth Merson didn't rate our window, or West Ham's for that matter. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/15205/10559733/paul-mersons-club-by-club-transfer-window-grades
