  1. He's got a nasty case of cantsaveitis.
  2. You mean people disappointed with the result and the performance?
  3. We were talking a few weeks ago that Forster being England's No.2 was a reflection on the depth of English goalkeeping. Since then I'm sure Heaton has gone ahead of him anyway. Forster is a big unit and the downside of that is his agility.
  4. What a horror show.
  5. We won't hold on to him 'at all costs' as there will be a price point which becomes the right number for the board. It will be a huge number though due to age, length of current contract and of course his outstanding ability.
  6. Sorry for the edit I'm getting my JWP and PEH threads mixed up. Big fan of PEH but he was all over the show in the first half. Really struggled. Came into it in the second half and drive forwards well.
  7. I don't think lack of support on a forum causes too many issues with the match. Game changed when Jay went off. He cuts a sorry figure now. A real shame. Jermaine Jenas continually claiming the CB's rugby tackles on VvD were fine was just about the most annoying part of the night.
  8. It's quite hard watching Jay. A shadow of his former self. No touch, no control, no pace, no confidence, no leadership of the line.
  9. I'm guessing there's too much smoke around for there not to be a fire smouldering somewhere....
  10. Interesting that Bloomberg are running with it. Not known for gossip so probably some credence to the story in some shape or form.
  11. SSN saying he's gone.
  12. I would expect us to use Puel's in-depth knowledge of the French leagues for our next acquisitions.
  13. PEH is in a different league to Clasie.
  14. Agree but he didn't instill much confidence by fumbling / spilling all the other shots. It was an uncharacteristic performance. Tom Heaton is certainly above him in the England pecking order judging by recent weeks' performances.
  15. Cedric with one good leg.
  16. After praising Clasie for his hugely improved performance against Burnley I'm afraid he's reverted to type today. PEH must be wondering what he's got to do to get a game.
  17. According to The Sun (via SSN) Jose has told Morgan he can go.
  18. I don't see a single 'meltdown' on this thread whatsoever. What I see is people discussing a likely scenario in a pretty constructive manner. It is OK to discuss things like this on a footy forum I guess? You know, you don't have to be a 'bedwetter' or a 'happy-clapper'. There is some ground in between for discussion, and if appropriate, critique. Just maybe.
  19. It's funny isn't it. There were a fair few vocal folks questioning Puel who were told in no uncertain terms that it was ridiculous to judge a man on such a short period and yet now there are plenty calling him the new messiah just a few weeks on. But that's OK now. For balance let's see how things are looking at the turn of the year. It's looking a lot brighter now though and long may that continue.
  20. It's pretty much always Martina that's why. You don't see them in professional football nowadays just on the school playing field.
  21. Davis needlessly giving it away on the halfway line was the problem.
  22. Yes. The Italians are going to have one strike but it will be very effective.
  23. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57303-Massive-thank-you!#.WAkudDR4X7o
  24. It was for Austin's shirt pulling. Jenas missed it too so probably a good job he's commentator not a ref.
