Has anyone ever tried one of these: http://www.creamsupplies.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1203 Thought it might be an idea for the office or out on site?

From some of the fan comments coming out of the septic isle, it sounds as if the (0.4)penny is finally dropping.
-
Spurs probably are a slightly 'bigger' club than Saints, but to go there would be something of a sideways move for Poch. If he moves on, it'll be more likely to a proper 'big' club, like ManU/City/Arsenal/Real/Barca/Milan, all of whom dwarf the spuds.
-
Should be a third element - teamwork. Individuals playing together, understanding how the others play and their capabilities, that 'sixth sense' to know where your team-mate will be making his run. Without that familiarity - which takes time - coaching can take you only so far.

Where to start? Germany won at a canter. Both Germany and Chile passed the ball around us at ease. England chock full of glory-hunting players who can't/won't pass the ball, who lack vision and touch. Too many inflated egos with limited talent still playing schoolboy 'rush' football. Poor tactics from Woy. Formation was way too rigid for EPL players who don't play 4-4-2 as a rule. Really makes me appreciate the football Saints have been playing this year. Even in our bad games we've been way better than that. And don't anyone talk about Saints players having to 'step up a level' when they have to play in teams as poor as England has fielded in these two games. Interesting comment from Ballack about the lack of pressing and chasing from England to win back the ball whenever they lost it. Brazil? Won't get out of the group on these performances.

Are England **** or what? Sturridge and Townsend think they're Morrison and Zaha. Walker's playing ACROSS the pitch, Rooney's acting as if he's the only player on the the team and Cleverley not only looks like the stupid Marine in "A Few Good Men", but is playing like him. Total lack of ideas. Adam does need to assert himself more and go get the ball, because no-one's going to pass it to him. Get Lambert on for Sturridge and go to 4-2-3-1 with Rooney in the hole.

Has he got a dog?

Second the idea of a steam iron if it's one of those generator ones with the separate iron and steam hose. Far more efficient and much lighter. Additionally, the resultant lack of weight lifting practice also means that Mrs P is now no longer such a threat when arm wrestling for the TV remote.
-
The 'Trip' (RCD) is doing its job and protecting you from potential shocks from leakage current off the iron. Sounds like the heating element in the iron is starting to break down, so new iron is the answer, I'm afraid. Could also be the flex breaking down, of course. Is your missus one those women who coil it up when they put it away, then just pull it out straight, so it ends ups totally kinked after a few uses? Perhaps she does it with her hairdryer as well?

I'd prefer Barkley to either Henderson or Cleverley for a midfield spot. Bet Roy won't though.

Having avoided the news all evening, just watched the recording. Chile are a good side, but where was England's midfield? No creativity or link-up play. Honestly, playing Lampard and Wilshere together - the two least-disciplined and tactically inept midfielders in the squad - with Milner of all people, ffs? Not that it mattered with centre backs that couldn't play out from the back, a right back who wasn't and a hoofing keeper. Brave performance from Lallana and J-Rod gave it a good go, but this was a side without shape, organisation or leadership. If Berbatov had been playing for England, it could have been a re-run of Saints v Fulham, with the team in red doing all the pressing and passing and dominating possession.

Quite right, good post. I did notice that when Hughes and Lindgard came on they seemed very reluctant to pass to Zaha, even when he was clearly open, almost as if they knew he'd **** it up.

That'll be the second sentence, then? (I might actually read it now to check.)

Hmmm. Goalie66 does raise an interesting idea, though. "Pompey Move Over Saga" does have a certain ring to it...
-
Here's an idea. How about putting the pair in the matchday squads for the next few games? Or is the club not actually down to the 'bare bones' that they constantly complain about?
-
Christ, I hope he's better than that! Well done Jay and Adam.

Like the Russian guy from 'Hunt for Red October', who went on the try and kill Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard?

You might want to take a look at a WDTV Live. Streams all the usual and seems a bit more flexible playing your own media files, either from USB or network storage. I've got one of the older models that has been rock-steady and has played virtually any file format I could throw at it.

True. But right now I'd rather be Saints than Brighton or Reading.

Yep. Jrod has a classy tattoo. Brett's got a Maori.

The forum has now become self-aware and duplicates posts in numbers that are directly proportional to their importance. (Nice one, Pugwash - SWF)

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

China is of course playing catch-up in the industrialisation of their society, so their rise in carbon emissions is understandable. Similarly India. However, both nations are doing it by jumping a step to the latest technologies for burning fossil fuels, using big hydro and renewable schemes and are also exploring advanced nuclear technologies that will leave us in their wake. -
Wires crossed Bazza? Liberal means general accepting of most things. I think the term you're looking for is bigoted, or 'conservative' if you like.
