  1. We create lots of chances but convert so few.
  2. Totally this
  3. Working very nicely - cheers!
  4. That's more than nuance, that's a gaping chasm in terms of meaning!
  5. RK - top bloke! I hope he stays as long as Lawrie Mac.
  6. Mane is in charge of the watering, I hear, he likes to aquaplane a bit when his chest hits the ground in the box...
  7. Razor and Terry Hurlock - that pairing would send shivers down your shins!
  8. Blimey! Perhaps you should be appearing on Countdown instead of Le Tiss!
  9. Newcastle may well fancy him for the job but hasn't RK always maintained that he honours his contracts? I think he will at least see out the three years. Also, would he really view Mike Ashley as a better boss than Katharina Leibherr?
  10. MOTD highlights here: http://www.footytube.com/video/qprsou-333567
  11. Dewhursts! Blimey, where do you live - 1965? I expect they'd be a bit peppery but leave a bitter aftertaste.
  12. On this, my dear Fry, I entirely agree with you. Then he played for England and suddenly the A34 was paved with gold. I fear the same thing may happen with Clyne.
  13. I was going to post this but someone had beaten us to it. Nothing new here except for that tit-bit - Malibu and Coke?
  14. And I seem to remember Peter Crouch getting tripped and falling like Bambi against Newcastle the season we got relegated. We didn't get a penalty but if we'd got points from that game the whole of recent history might have been quite different.
  15. That's six times I think, one more than the Newcastle team has managed all season!
  16. These "statistics" seem to be reflected in the goal difference figures too, despite all the wailing and gnashing of teeth about us failing to convert chances. The more you shoot and the better you defend the bigger the number. Kudos to RK for setting us up to do this, it makes us great to watch.
  17. Yes indeed, if only he had said that.
  18. Hmm, who's footballing nous should invest our emotions in - Ronald Koeman's (a footballer with a verifiable CV) or Sidney Fudpucker's (history unknown). This is not a dig at you Sid, but we do need to take a realistic look at where we are in terms of squad strength etc. Truth is, we are nothing but a mid table team as Wet Spam and Newcastle are proving right now.
  19. Normal service is resumed. It's just like being a Saints fan twenty years ago again.
  20. This A quiet voice of reason amongst all the hyperbole.
  21. Could it be that we lost because: City were up for it Pellegrini got his tactics spot on Man for man they are a better team than us Jermaine Jenas' analysis on the BBC website is quite compelling http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30268213
  22. ...and Tottenham (for now at least) and the best goal difference in the league!
  23. On this, Prof, I agree completely. However, I can't see Spuds selling Kane anytime soon anymore than I can see us selling JRod. There again, if neither of them sign a contract extension...
