  1. Bunch of arse, Ive played in far worse than that on a sunday morning. Just help you shrug off the hangover. Anyone remember that game at the Dell years ago, think it was against Man City, there was so much rain the water was literally ankle deep in one of the corners
  2. Back home already, didn't get selected:rolleyes: Have to phone up friday to see if I'm needed next week now. It was meant as a joke, well, sort of...
  3. Anyone done it? I am starting tomorrow. Really looking forward to it, despite what it will cost me in lost earnings. Just hope I get a decent case. And a defendant who is a skate...
  4. If its a hot day, then yes. Cycling tops are made of material designed to wick sweat away from the body far better than footy shirts. They also have pockets for carrying extra food, and a rain jacket for the UK! Also on a long ride, 3 hrs plus, you may find a footy shirt starts to rub and make you sore, a cycling top won't do this. As for shoes, do you use toe clips? Again on longer rides you will probably find cycling shoes an advantage, but they're not cheap especially when you add a set of pedals, probably only worth doing if your going to carry on cycling
  5. Hmm, not sure reading that link it says about water stressed areas. Looking a southern waters website it says we are in one. I've emailed Ofwat for clarification, although not sure that will do any good, if theyre anything like the financial ombudsman I won't even get a reply.
  6. Cost. 6 people in our house. Not saying people shouldn't pay for what they use, but where water companies are concerned there is no competition, you can't change to a cheaper supplier like you can with gas or electric. Once every one is on a meter whats to stop them doubling their prices?
  7. Really? Where did you find this out?
  8. Good luck with it. Another bit of advice, back off the training a good 10 days before the ride, just do a couple of easy spins to keep the legs loose. Also try to get bit of experience riding in groups if you can. It will make things a lot easier for you on the day. Every year there are a lot of crashes, particularly on Ditchling, caused by people who only come out once a year and don't have a clue how to ride near other riders. Unless you're near the front you'll probably find you end up walking most of the way up due to the sheer numbers anyway.
  9. Good grief. Just tried to renew my 3, one adult, one junior and one child. Guess what, yep, it tried to charge me adult price for all three. What exactly was the point of going through all that re-registation malarky? As usual, ticket office=fail
  10. Someones finally managed to renew more than one ticket, at the correct price, online?
  11. Lol, new keyboard please:lol:
  12. Agent Conolly, your mission should you choose to accept it....
  13. I wouldn't wipe my arse on that rag. Its a shame there isn't an organised protest among England supporters to boycot it.
  14. Lymington-Lyndhurst road is a pain in the arse during rush hour, especially the one way section round Lyndhurst. I would drive across the forest towards Hythe then up past the Bold Forester and pick up the A326 at Marchwood. Although if you can do without your car leave it in Hythe and get the ferry across to town. Edit: Sorry, just seen the bit about leaving at 7, in which case most days you will be fine either way
  15. Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill, although Wonderful Tonight was a very close second in the choices
  16. Send a bill to the dirty skate c*nts. Surely as 'community club of the year' they would be appalled that one of their fanbase would act in such a way and would re-imburse your Father immediately. Its not like they can't afford it, oh, hang on...
  17. CL, my mistake, thought I'd hit the quote button, clearly not.
  18. Cortese eats there. FACT. Not tried it myself but have not heard a bad word said about the place.
  19. No. Its this ambulance chasing mentality that has made everyone elses insurance premiums so high. They made a mistake, you haven't suffered any lasting damage, get over it.
  20. Lee Camp?
  21. So if BC has never actually been the owner per se, does that mean he has to pass the FAPP test? Oh how I would laugh if he failed (not that thats going to happen)
  22. This. Has anyone got a pompey online account so they can go on there and thank them from all of us for helping us in such a big amazing way. They'll like that...
  23. but is anyone really surprised:uhoh: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/9711758.Labour_accused_of__jobs_for_the_boys_/
  24. Has to be Leeds. 10 of us on a stag do in an exec box. Loads of food and drink, then got kicked out at the end as a bitter Leeds fan said we were nasty to him, bless.
