Question. Watching my lad play under 12's today. With 1 minute to go they are 2-1 up when the ref awards a penalty, in my view after being influenced by the opposing managers vociferous protest. Whle the pen was being sorted the manager made a sub to bring back on a kid who was obviously his preferred penalty taker. Said pen was scored with ease. Is it legal to make a sub at that time? I thought although the game was stopped, the ball was still classed as in play?

Chaplow is exactly what we need in this league, a solid hard working box to box midfielder. Not the worlds most technically gifted player, but can certainly stick his foot in when needed. If Hammond can get back to his previous form we will have some nice midfield options.
