Same place everyone else on him comes from. What I wanted him to be is a bit more critical. We lost 1 0 to Germany's C team at home. If that, in your opinion, warrants are worst players (imo cleverly) to have the same rating as AL then fine but I disagree.

Gibraltar is an over-sea territory whereas the channel islands are crown dependencies. Basically, I believe the channel islands are more controlled by the UK than Gibraltar (which has its own parliament) that it probably wouldn't be allowed.

System was wrong. Playing 2 up front against a team like Germany leaves the midfield weak. And Sturridge and Rooney simply don't link up at all. Agree about Wilshere - over-rated, as are many of the players tonight. Thought Lallana did OK and has a good chance of going to Brazil.

At one point last Saturday I stopped following the ball and watched what the Saints back four were doing. They were superb. You could almost draw a straight line between the four of them at times, and they moved up as a unit. Which is down to really hard work on the training field. Then I compared it to the shambles of a back four playing for England last night. Saints work hard and have a plan. Couldn't see much of a plan for England last night.

As a coach, Hoddle was as good as anyone. His organisation of the England team v Argentina in 98 after Beckham was sent off was extraordinary. The way he got Saints playing in the year that he was with us was excellent. Beattie as a central striker, with two wide men. Not that different in formation from how most teams play now. What kwsaint junior did not mention was that his 5th birthday party coincided with the last game at the Dell. I did what felt like the right thing at the time and passed on my ticket to a friend. So never actually saw MLTs goal live. Needless to say I have never let him forget it.

Thought our ref was pretty good. In the whole 90 mins he only got a couple of decision (imo) wrong. Penalty was definitely a penalty. Nothing really major went wrong for him. Well done Mr Dowd.

Have to say that I'm very impressed this year with the discipline of the squad. In the league we've received 12 yellow cards over the course of 11 games. This is about 1.1 a game. Don't know about you but I think that's a pretty good record. One booking today.

Comes across as a genuinely nice bloke. Felt the same way about Martinez. Would love Hull to stay up this year. Think they deserve it since there are plenty more worse teams in the PL than Hull.
