I usually park in either Chapel Rd or Lower New Rd (either side of Notto). There's usually plenty of space, it's outside the parking restriction zone & only about 15 minutes walk to the ground. I'll going tonight also (weather permitting) so don't nick my parking space.

Happy days. I loved watching Saints back in the day, Shearer, Le Tiss, Ruddock, Flowers. Who's blood is on his shirt? I'm guessing Paul Ince's.

Great news. He's the type of bustling, harrying midfielder we've been crying out for. I just hope he doesn't do a Saga & go through the motions once (if) he gets a permanent deal. If he carrys on like he has been, and like he did first time around, I can see him becoming a bit of a 'cult hero'.

I guess you're right, my little Hornby 00 gauge doesn't have these problems.
-
Possibly not, he was a 'keeper, and as an ex-keeper myself I lost my front teeth by diving into a melee of players to get the ball, and getting a gobful of boot for my troubles. I just hope he remembers to glue them in before any half-time rants. There's nothing more embarrasing than your teeth flying out when your shouting at someone. . Although the kids find it funny.

Last season me & the nippers hung around by the players entrance after a match to get autographs. The players start to leave about 45 minutes after the end of a match, and are happy to sign autographs. The only one we didn't get was RL. We even managed to get John Motsons who was watching the match.

Does the driver need to know the route? Surely the points settings determine which direction he goes, he just has to follow the tracks.

Good news - thought he finished after the Notts County game.

Am I the only one who noticed the irony of this statement - Brilliant. I raise my hat to you sir!

I was impressed with Chappers in his first spell with us, and hope we can keep him permantly. Does anyone know when the paperwork has to be finalised by to allow him to play against Daggers?
-
Presumably this is a skilled job. Could it be that there is no-one with the required skills currently unemployed?

Not only prententious, but aslo wrong, unless it is an acceptable variant though . As for the orange, I saw that edition of QI too.

3.6 x 3.7m of underlay cost me £65. I was advised to stay clear of the rubber stuff & go with the foam type as it has better insulation properties & keep it's shape better, and is actually cheaper.
-
I've used Carpet Right on several occasions without any problems. Coincidentally myself & Mrs Geezer were carpet shopping on Saturday. We ended up ordering from Mr H in Bevois Vally (no help to someone in W Suxxex), because their underlay was cheaper & of a better quality than Carpet Rights. With regards to fitting, I'd let the supplier do it, that way they will deliver & fit at the same time & you don't have a 4m roll of carpet cluttering up the lounge for a few days. This ranged between £35-50 depending on the store.

I hate to say it but I find myself agreeing with Dune/Stanley, but to say someone is thick purely because they are incorrect is in itself incorrect, or possibly even displaying a lack of education. My boss has a PhD in Structural Engineering, he certainly isn’t thick, but it annoys the hell out of me, as he uses ‘haitch’. Here’s something else for Dunely to get his teeth into, the use of the letter ‘h’ as a vowel, especially when preceding ‘hotel’. It’s either “an ‘otel” or “a hotel”.

I remember that. Must have been at the Milton Rd end, it one of those times when the crowd had gone quite, and as clear as a bell you heard "f***ing hell Stevie" being hollered.

FFS. I trust my fiver will be refunded to my paypal account forthwith.

I'm surprised you missed it. It's a cracker, I'm sure in time it will be destined for the Golden Posts Section. Brace yourself - here it comes: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?25870-Saints-Wallpaper-(not-virtual)

Absolutely not, don't implement it for a year or so. I've just coughed up specifically to start a thread.

Well done gentlemen an fine effort. My mate did do it in a Saints shirt, he's emailed the proof. Boll0cks. I owe him a tenner.
-
Dead right, such a shame the 2nd didn't go in. I think NA will use him wisely. He looked to me, as if he has bulked up a bit, not a bad thing. Well played young Oxy.

Thanks. I will try to heed this advice. Maybe I'll try a bed, rather than the gutter.

Compression shorts will help a little, but you may want to make it the Great South Walk, the last thing you want to do is turn the strain into a tear. I tore mine 15 years ago, and sometimes, even now, it can hurt like hell, usually if I've slept in an awkward position. Good luck with the run/walk (?). I've sponsored a mate a fiver to do it, double if he does it in a Saints shirt.
