Man City are offering £20m for Sanchez from Arsenal - if we offer £21m then he's ours
-
Blaming everything on VVD and saying the experiment didnt work is just setting us up to sell our crown jewels in the future - luckily we dont have too many of those at the moment
-
Did he have two kids with him?
-
ive got corporate tickets, so just going for the **** up - would be a bonus if still in the game with 30 mins to go

I felt some sympathy for Puel last year as I think he was let down by the forwards missing simple chances - However this year the team are not creating hardly anything so you could have Kane and Aguero up front for us and it would make no difference - Its down to the team system of play and team structure and that is all down to MoPo. Koeman had the same issues that the start of both his seasons but experimented with the formation until he got the right balance - this idiot is just swapping the players around in like for like positions and hoping something will change.
-
The whole foundation of the club is based on everything that Cortese started - Reed carried it on for a bit with some success - and I think he has become complacent and delusional about his success - I think that the whole competitive environment has now changed and there are now many many more clubs following our model. We now dont have that advantage (everyone has a black box etc) that means its so much harder to find the next Mane and the next Pochettino. If we are following the stats and history of all managers then there is no excuse for signing Puel or MoPo as they have always played that way and I think its Reeds arrogance that he thinks he can change their style but still get the yes man he wants. I think we should be careful what we wish for and wouldnt get rid of him without a suitable replacement as I dont think there are that many - however he should at least be told in no uncertain terms that his position is under review
-
Its Liverpool vs their academy - The academy boys will be well up for the game as its basically an interview for next season - I'm going for a spirited 0:3
-
I dont understand if we have this black box that has all the stats for managers - we must have known they were negative in play - was Reed arrogant enough to think he could get them to change So why were they appointed
-
I can think of three positives straight off the top of my head 1. it was easy to get out the stadium at full time 2. we will not have to worry about losing all our players in the summer 3. Our players wont have their heads turned playing for England Im sure there are many more
-
True but we went from being comfortably out of sight at 3nil in 1st half to 3:2 with 6 mins to go - when we started having a go again scored another 3 goals
-
I thought JWP and Hojberg have been a disgrace in the 2nd half particularly Hojberg - almost all of his passes have been backwards - most completely unnecessary when he had forward positive options - epitomises the cancer of negative play that is endemic in the club recently
-
Dont be stupid there not facing the wrong way - he's suggesting Forster up front with attacking support from Hoedt, VVD and Yoshi - did you not see his goal Vs Stoke Its called a Plan B - They cant score any less goals than we've got with our current strikers
-
When you see MoPe in the dugout he is not talking to Black but to his other assistants - If Black was so influential then surely he would be conferring with him not the other two. I am sure I remember a few murmurings from players that the training was pretty poor last year and i am sure if true that might be partly attributable to Black. In the end of the day success is due to a combination of the managers tactical input or the ability to get this across to the players and also the ability of the players themselves - I would say both are questionable

Does anyone use Kodi anymore other than Sportsmania - I can never seem to find any streams on there
-
Does anyone feel a little bit sorry for AOC - Left Arsenal looking to play more footy and it is looking likely that he will not get much game time at Liverpool with the players ahead of him and Nivea fan boy still to come back. Im sure his bank manager is happy not sure he will be

Austin up top with gabbi , tadic, Davis behind ( Boufal or Redmond instead of Davis after 60mins
-
Honestly how many goals are in that team - our biggest issue is scoring goals and people pick a team with no goal scorers
-
he only came to see utd
-
Would an out and out striker actually make any difference - other than Gabbi's goal against Wham - i dont think I have seen either Long or Gabbi have a chance to miss. The problem is Davis , Romeu and Lemina are so deep and dont support the striker and Redmond and Tadic are out wide so no a threat on goal we really need to sort out positioning to make more chances
-
When Gabbiadini joined us I was reading that one of his former managers said he's best position was on the left not as a out and out striker - Therefore I dont see it as such a risk to play him wide instead of Redmond - with Charlie up front then we at least have two people on the pitch that can score goals without upsetting the structure of the team
-
I thought Tadic was miles better than Redmond today - what did Redmond do to keep his place ahead of Tadic
