Last seasons lack of goals was not just down to Puel and lack of chances - there were games were it was painful watching Long when he missed so many quilt edge chances (arsenal away in the cup springs to mind) - the same with Jrod Why anyone wants to bin our top goal scorer and replace him with a totally unproven player in the prem league seems a bit of major gamble

not entirely sure people are jizzing themselves - it seems the mood ranges from deeply disappointed to wishful thinking that he'll surprise us like pottichino

I think that JWP is good at whipping in Free kicks and corners but I would nt say he is great at taking free kicks as direct shots and his open play direct shooting is woeful

There is a whole host of things in between thou that will cause contention - if a player was on the edge of the box and carried on for a few seconds - at the moment they would get booked if they carried on an shot - however this change will ensure that they carry on just in case - Im all for it but think there should be two challenges per team like in cricket

I understand the rotation and dont have a problem with that I understand now playing the diamond when it started to deliver good results what I dont understand is changing to 433 and sticking with it when it clearly didnt work creating poor performances and dreadful results we have had two games with 4231 and both been excellent performances - I question whether the change was entirely his I question sticking with Redmond every game and all game when we have had better options I also find him as interesting and motivating as a dead rat but other than that I like him
