Totally agree-I think a large percentage of it will be aimed at the board. Will the club react or will they dig their hills in with their appointment? I just can’t believe the board , honestly thought this was a progressive step up from Ralph. The fact that they did, is a concern with regards to future decisions. Not wanting to be a defeatist, but unfortunately I can’t see us stopping up this season.

One of the best players I can remember playing for Southampton. Mind you, when you go back to that team from the early 80’s!!! Always remember a shot/goal from 25/30 yards out against Stoke as it was one of my first away games.

Agree with most of the above, to be honest I can't really comment on point 8 but I wouldn't be surprised if true. We can quote stats all day, but ultimately its results and points that count and we need points. I think we need a change but that is easier said then done - who is available, and would they be interested?

Where's les and Fred? Very quick to come out when it's all going well. centre back issue aside, there is nothing which I have seen that tells me that puel is a good manager at this level. I suppose the question now is.... Can Puel keep us up or do we need a change?

I said the other day I was concerned that we would be in relegation battle, however apparently my comment was a knee jerk reaction. What I find hard to believe is that some still think we have a better chance of finishing 8th! No, i'm not a bedwetter, but we are seriously in the s..t.

Let's not have any knee jerk actions, as we clearly won't be relegated ......so I'm told anyway. Out of all the positions where we needed to strengthen, this was the prioritiy after selling fonte. Anyway might put a stop to rotation as we are running out of fit ( match fit) defenders!

I don't understand why people think relegation isn't a possibility, look at our results since Christmas and we are now weaker in central defence - it's not being negative, but based on recent results it worries me.
