  1. If Gardos is in it's an easy decision He is: http://www.southampton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=503207
  2. & because of his dad. "Bradley Wright-Wright-Wright!"
  3. It's very possible that those people are wrong and that we still need a player like Pelle / Lambert. What is a shame is that we don't have a player of that type in the squad as an option.

  5. He's an interesting case because where does he go if he leaves? Can't be to an elite team. We'd be a good fit but I can't see us paying big wages & fee for a 28 year old.
  6. Not so far!

  8. Soccer Saturday did a piece on Watford last Saturday and it was evident how they do the same this season. 4 or 5 players in the box when the wide player crosses the into the box.
  9. I agree. Heard some good buzz about Hansen. Hope he gets some minutes tonight.
  10. @SouthamptonFC: Here's how #SaintsFC's youngsters line-up for tonight's #CheckatradeTrophy tie away to #CamUTD at Abbey Stadium:
  11. Great post & thanks for sharing. You should stick around, Minty.
  12. For him to truly be the next Gaston, a strong performance vs Newcastle @ St Mary's is vital.
  13. Well said that man. The Sunderland (cup) & 'Boro (prem) games last season at home were woeful, but #TheBouf came up with a couple of stunners to win both games. He's not going to do that sat on the bench this season.
  14. Is that true?!
  15. Called up to Dutch squad
  16. When we went through what we went through with relegation & admin etc, you always dream that when you sign a new striker that he will unrealistically score a million goals & fire you up through the leagues etc. He actually achieved that wth us & made my footballing dream reality - I'll always be massively grateful for that. Happy retirement, SRL.

    Koeman

Glorious image that sums up this season for him:
  19. We need both. Never replaced Pelle or Mane properly, IMO. I always felt it was a risk deciding to not stick with a big-man up top. Lambert was brilliant & Pelle served as a very good replacement. Nothing was broken -- I didn't see the need to fix it.
  20. Him wanting to leave doesn't change the fact that he's our best player by a mile.
  21. Was desperate for the point. If we can't score, we are in for one hell of a fight this season.
  22. There's no doubt their lack of attacking recruitment meant they believed it was Puel & NOT the players.
  23. Scores in stoppage time. 6-1 down
  24. FFS. Will the players believe they can score?
