When we went through what we went through with relegation & admin etc, you always dream that when you sign a new striker that he will unrealistically score a million goals & fire you up through the leagues etc. He actually achieved that wth us & made my footballing dream reality - I'll always be massively grateful for that. Happy retirement, SRL.

We need both. Never replaced Pelle or Mane properly, IMO. I always felt it was a risk deciding to not stick with a big-man up top. Lambert was brilliant & Pelle served as a very good replacement. Nothing was broken -- I didn't see the need to fix it.

Him wanting to leave doesn't change the fact that he's our best player by a mile.
