But didn't all of that help bizzarely lead to our take-over?
Somewhere, I'm sure I read that the 1st time Cortese became aware of the club was when he'd read the Paul Allen rumours online.

Danns played in their pre-season friendly...

Doubt a move is imminent. (Hope i'm wrong though!)
Fair point. Not to mention the fact that he's out of contract in next summer. I'll trust Pards, whoever signs. He's got a hell of a record with us in the transfer market thus far.
Yeah, saw this yesterday. Not to mention the fact that they've signed up George Boyd on a new contract for this season. Peterborough are going to be up there this season.
Danns would be as top draw a signing as we could make. Can't see it happeing though. He's one of the best midfielders in the CCC. Can't see him dropping to league 1 since he turned us down in January.
What's Palace's financial situation like at the mo? I see they're trying to tie-up Ambrose on a new contract - That'll set them back a fair bit -- And we know how George likes to wheel and deal. Reckon a million would get them talking to us about Danns.
He's consistently been one of the most prolific strikers in this league. Of his type of play, he's probably 2nd only to Beckford IMO (Who's just gone to Everton).
Maybe we can buy Jackson AND still buy a classy MC for this division?
I'd love to have Jackson here - Look at his goal return. He's like a lower-division Defoe. Would just give us another really good option to have someone to run onto Rickie's lay-off's.
10.13 Crystal Palace have parted ways with veteran striker Stern John and are hoping to sign a new forward.
Don't think Pards would welcome him back, but......
Great signing. Heard it on the radio driving home and 1st thing I thought was "league 1 team of the season's right back".
Brilliant. So that's the league's best right-back, and left-back onboard!
Who's next?
