  1. Agree on those names you've mentioned. A winger is a definite. Woolford his his 8th goal of the campaign today... Marc Pugh might be another one to add to the list. Attacking midfielder, perhaps? Maybe a striker, but he'd have to be some player to beat either Lambert/Guly/Barnard to the first XI.
  2. Crikey, that'll be our old youth team strike force all back together again!
  3. I got the impression (From listening to Nigel's pre-match interview on solent) that his preference of signings will be players who have played in the championship before.
  4. I read into that: "We have no money to sign him - I hope to god no-one comes in and bids for him"
  5. 700k
  6. I've always stood by my 500k value for him... I may need to adjust that after this recent goal flurry. What a shame he's so temperamental.
  7. This is a very good point. I look around at the teams around us, and there's no doubt, we have the most to talent to lose this January, compared to other clubs. If we can keep Lallana & Chambo at the end of January, I'll be delighted.
  8. Just been watching SKY's football league show. They've been rounding up the season so far for each of the 3 divisions. Peter Beagrie's top 3 players of league 1 were Austin, Chamberlain, and a lad called Dale Jennings of Tranmere. Anyone mentioned him on here? Looks like a hell of player. Has pace to burn.
  9. That's awesome, mate!
  10. What a steal that is! - Great signing, and he's starting to add goals to his game as well. Nice bit of business, Saints.
  11. Yeah, I read into it that the Chappie deal is already done. Brilliant news if true.
  12. Will be interesting to see who else bids for him in January. If Chambo does leave, I'd want Punch back ASAP.
  13. Lallana
  14. St.Patrik posted this in the build up thread http://www.thisisexeter.co.uk/football/Key-trio-miss-training-bug-hits-City/article-3045792-detail/article.html He might be missing out....
  15. Probably won't be as easy as people think. Exeter seem a bit hot and cold - Think they've over performed this year. They've beaten Sheff Wed 5-1, beaten Charlton, scored 3 away at Oldham, beaten Huddersfield away, beaten Carlisle & drawn with Peterborough. But lost games you'd expect them to win. They can score goals. I'm hoping for a return to our patented 3-1 victory. A win would really keep the momentum going.
  16. Speaking of rumoured targets.... Anyone else see Danns' freekick yesterday? Class.
  17. Comolli from Liverpool WAS at the game today. Also, I'm not 100% sure I heard this right, but I think I heard Nigel Adkins say that Barnard has had his hernia op and is now 100% ready to fire on all cylinders. Great win today boys. Fantastic to get ourselves back into contention.
  18. Another +100k on his transfer fee. Nice work, Punch.
  19. Stock's out of contract in the summer... Be interesting to see whether Donny cash in on him in Jan. I'd find it suprising if many L1 clubs (Sheff Wed excluded) could afford his wages or transfer fee if he goes though.
  20. I like Punch - Shame he's fallen out of favour with the management. Like I said in the other thread, if we can get 500k for him, I think we'd all be happy. His continued good performances are going to help is value increase, so long may it continue.

  22. I'd take the play-off's at the moment. I'll be better suited to judge us after January to see if we still have Lallana & Chambo, and to see who we bring in. Can't see us winning the league with 3 crocked strikers.
  23. 2 or 3 days ago, I read an article about them wanting Austin/McClean/Fryatt - So I knew they mean't business. Seems like they're bidding for all of them. I always thought they were skint. New Foreign owners, I guess.
  24. I think Leicester & Hull will come close.
  25. Since he's on the outs with the management anyway, I'd take 500k for him.
