In order to stay up it feels as though we need to appoint a big enough name in order to command immediate respect from the squad but also someone who knows how to handle a relegation scrap. Those two things don’t often go hand in hand. Big name managers generally manage clubs at the right end of the table.

Are you able to explain why, (as he’s such a spectacular talent), he’s spent he’s whole career playing his club football in the Chinese, South Korean and Croatian leagues? (and to be clear - I haven’t said he probably isn’t good enough for us, he could well be a good signing, I merely pointed out that he’s never played in a top league, which is a fact)

Do you not think that the quality of the opposition is a factor that might be worth considering?
