  1. May I suggest this guy for drummer
  2. I believe it's "fat bastard!!" not "skate Bastard!!" though as none of the keepers are usual that rotund your point stands...
  3. What and risk having all the home fans being ejected for homophobic chanting I think not. Brighton fans have a clear policy of now reporting all homophobia at matches. I think we should call their bluff and sing "Does your girlfriend know your here? you big strong hetro man you" and "We can see you holding copies of loaded magazine you totally not gay lads"
  4. or the ex-pats and their sexy nuns....or would that be to off putting?
  5. yes if they could have transfered the programme pages to the big screen it would have helped. TBH if I hadn't bought a programme I wouldn't have known what was going on myself (much like the ref last night it would seem)
  6. They had a two page spread in the programme of people to be remembered which was nice.............though not much use to those who don't get a programme
  7. Execellent idea. If the players carry their I phones/blackberries around with them on the pitch and each players number is put up on the big screens at SMS. we could text or ring them with personal messages of support during the game............
  8. Forgot about that was a right balls up. I think when the ref blew the whistle to call the players over some people thought that was the whistle to start the silence, when the ref blew the whistle to actually start people thought that was the end of the silence so started clapping so we end up doing a miniute of clapping instead of silence....
  9. *Shrug* no one really stood out last night as good or bad it was the strangest game I've been to in a while. You know what's going on the pitch isn't very entertaining when the Chapel decide to sing:scared:
  10. ......of acceptable things to do at saints matches? Coming on here it gets very confusing to work out how a "proper" saints fan should act at a game. I think we need to know dress code half time snacking and drinking do and don'ts acceptable songs chants/banter that are considered funny and therefore acceptable when to stand/sit when is it acceptable to leave early/go and queue for a half time pint I think it's important we get these things right or we might shame the club in front of "proper" fans at other clubs... ........
  11. Can I take it we're not allowed to chant "Deano, Deano, Deano" anymore when our captain does something good either? Would it be OK to shout "Stevo, Stevo, Stevo" when De-ridder scores intead of Steeeeve?
  12. What even more than Oldham two seasons ago?
  13. look at the poster.....
  14. No Adrain has taken to describing every game as a tough one for a a variety of reasons. I think it's a coping mechanism I'm sure he is expecting us to crash and burn at some stage (though he wouldn't be alone, I have to keep reigning in my expectations)
  15. Seemed like everytime the Northam shouted STEEEVE he 'd just shank the ball into touch or mis-control a simple pass.
  16. 3pts and home record intacted which is good, but I can't remember feeling so meh about a win before. Great start but the sending off seemed to kill the game and both sides just looked like they were happy seeing out the game. With a man advantage I was hoping for a bit of champagne football and a bit of a cricket score. Playing possession football between the keeper and defence while a good idea when winning, isn't much fun to watch for 60+mins. Best thing was the singing from different parts of SMS in the second half, shame we can't get that going more often. Deffo a game to forget 3pts move on.
  17. So why not blame those who can't just walk away from trouble....it's easy enough to do it takes a conscience decision to kick off. It's not the police who decide to cause trouble with oppostion fans. They could have just played the game behind closed doors and saved themselves a load of trouble at least this way people get to see the game....which is supposed to be the most important thing isn't it?
  18. yep Connolly seems out of sorts, Barney ????? who knows? need Guly up front at the moment.
  19. Why are people so quick to blame the police rather than the knuckle draggers who brought this on everyone? If the police do nothing and it all kicks off everyone will be ready to complain about police inactivity quick enough.
  20. beeb says Guly should be back after shaking off a minor knock in saturdays game. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15441312.stm
  21. They're trying police trouble at the game so the theroy holds water in that context. Now if morons from both sides want to meet on some waste ground for a fight away from the staduim and out of sight of the general public and press I imagine the police are a lot less bothered.
  22. picked this up on a celtic forum think that it's pretty obvious to most that the problem at the club is the defence. For whatever reason, it's just not good enough. The first thing to do is to have a look at who we have available; Adam Matthews Emilio Izaguirre Badr El Kaddouri Daniel Majstorović Kelvin Wilson Cha Du-Ri Mark Wilson Charlie Mulgrew Glenn Loovens Thomas Rogne Lewis Toshney Jos Hooiveld (out on loan) Josh Thompson (out on loan) Darren O'Dea (out on loan) That's 14 defenders on our books, and to be honest, I think two of them are good enough to wear the jersey at present in Izaguirre & Wilson. So Jos is behind about 12 other defenders in the pecking order at Celtic. I reckon celtic might just want him of the books TBH.
  23. What the palace team that made seven changes? both sides made so many changes that night, that using the CC game as a barometer of our league meeting is totally pointless.
  24. Looking at that you'd like to think our away form will get a bit better if we can't get some results away at those clubs it will be a slight worry I think. At home Hull and palace have got to be likely contenders to dent our home record I would have thought. Hope we give Blackpool a stuffing I want sing "championship you're having a laugh" at hollowhead.
  25. It's not though at the end of the day turkish wouldn't have to of made that post if grown men could behave themselves at a game of football. If they could there would be no need for police to infringe anyones human rights in the first place...
