The first line of the first post in this thread said : I went to the game expecting an atmosphere of turmoil and unrest. Now why do you think that the original poster asked that? Bescause fans wanted to protest about the day's news concerning the conflict involving Hamas and Israel? Because the fans wanted to protest at the closure of Adams / Woolworths? No of course not. This thread is about Lowe. If you cannot see that you must qualify as a one sided "pro Lowe muppet."

It was stupid of Chorley to throw real coins. Chocolate money or better still a shoe would have had better dramatic effect. It is even more stupid of Lowe to put this on OS. The beeb and other organisations who trawl websites looking for stories will pick up on it and it will make their news. It may even make the national news and then the world will learn that there is opposition to Rupert. By putting it on the website, Rupes is giving Chorley the publicity that he is looking for. Just shows what a t***er Rupes is.

This was the football club's chairman writing in last week's programme about his lack of attendance at the AGM. Yes the chairman Michael Wilde - not a junior. Not the teaboy. The chairman. Not being able to attend the AGM of the club in which he is the largest shareholder!! Isn't it pathetic. Despite what has been said on this forum the man does have balls. You have to have balls to write garbage like this. Either balls or be just really, really stupid & think that people will beliee you. What chance do we have when a wimp like this is chairman of the Football Club ???

I agree entirely. WGS's comments about the dark side (or something like that) spring to mind. WE had so much ... and through someone like Lowe it is being thrown away.

I am not sure that Crouch really saw his shares in Southampton as a money making acquisition. He is worth many millions & whilst I am sure that he would not be happy to lose money on them, he would see 24p as a price worth paying if the club prospered as a result.

Yes I have. Their English at times can be poor ... but there is never any difficulty in understanding what they are saying. Jan is in a league of his own in that respect. Have you ever heard Scolari, Benitez , Mourinho and the others you mention above refer regularly (over half a season) to "making a goal" when they mean score??

So why doesn't he make sense in his post match interviews??

My Dutch is poor. Completely non existent in fact. That is why I do not apply for jobs in Holland where I would be out of my depth.

Why is this thread silly?? It is clear that JP's team are not playing the way that he wants them to play. His communication skills after the match are poor - his interviews ramble and I find it difficult to understand what he is trying to say. I very much doubt if the players understand him - which could explain our poor organisation on the field and the clueless nature of our play. Perhaps you can explain why this is silly???

Lets just hope we are not firmly ensconced there after 44 games!!

If so, can you please tell me. I can workout what making a goal means. I can appreciate he says tink instead of think but how about the rest of his ramblings? Once you hae explained can you please also tell the players. Perhaps Rupert will check on a manager's ability to communicate effectively before he chooses a manager next time.
