So the bill gets defeated in the House of Commons. I respect the views of those who supported it and they have some good arguments, but I am pleased that it failed. Euthanasia / state sponsored killing is a dangerous path to go down and any such bill clearly needs more safeguards than were contained in this bill.

Surely if Archer and Downs are out the door enough space and wages have been freed up for another forward. Ideally one who can hold the ball up as well as Larin but better than Moamba.

If you park at Dorridge station ( yes, I know it's not on St Andrew's doorstep but it's. easy to get there and back on the train) there is a decent pub opposite called the Forest. It serves a decent pint of my favourite beer HPA.

The Wellington , just off Corporation Street has a huge selection of decent ales.

I appreciate that the Premier League is a different universe but compare that with Spurs who have spent over £300 million for what is ,so far, scant reward.

The efforts to make SMS more attractive for food and drink should be applauded. More beer choices, better food options, fanzones ,the Dell etc etc enhance the match day experience and bring in revenue for the club. However the commercial department do make some strange decisions. On Saturday I wss struck by the large number of fans wearing yellow shirts - either last year's second strip or just plain yellow shirts. The turnout of yellow at Wembley demonstrated it's popularity. So why have we moved away from second strip yellow to the simply awful blue outfit?? A plain yellow shirt with a blue sash would be, as a previous poster has pointed out, a great seller. Similarly the pricing of tickets for tonight's game against West Ham misses many opportunities. "Kids for a quid" would have lost ticket revenue (which presumably is shared with West Ham) but would have seen an increase in food and drink sales . It would also encourage a future generation of Saints supporters. Our commercial department gets a lot right .... but sometimes it fails abysmally.

Thought that Azaz played a blinder. His assist for the second goal was just one of many through balls that he tried throughout the match. At least thst one came off Craft beers and Guinness now available in the Chapel. Makes me happy. Gluten free Pukka pies makes the wife happy.

Middlesborough have already won the league .... according to their fans. Apparently their second half performance was "amazing". Saturday, when they are home to Lincoln will be interesting. Lincoln according to the BBC outplayed Derby on Saturday but apparently stand no chance if Boro repeat their second half form. Deluded??
