Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.

Now that is a load of pony. We will just have to agree to disagree. I would suggest though that you mug up on the British constitution. -

Johnson and this government don't like being questioned. Johnson avoided "difficult" interviewers like Neil and the Radio 4 Today team during the election and have continued this trend when in Government. Duckie and others of his ilk are quite happy about this. I fear for democracy when politicians refuse to open themselves up to scrutiny. -

Or in other words, as Jonnyboy said, Johnson didnt have the balls to face Neil. -

So why was he so scared of facing Neil during the election? -

So why not during the election? Was he scared of being judged by the full electorate rather than the Tory party gammon? -

If it is a borefest, why on earth are you following it ? Is your life really that empty?? -
They must be holding the press conference at my house.

I feel so sorry for all of you who have contributed such personal, heart rendering stories to this thread. Your openness is very commendable. I just count myself fortunate not to have had the issues that you have described. My first wife suffered fron primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis. She was bed bound and could do very little for herself for many years before she died 5 years ago. For many years she was on a low dose of Citalopram. It made her life bearable and although I recognise the problems that are alluded to above (inducing a kind of numbness and cold turkey problems if she ever missed a dose) she could never have coped without it.

Sometimes even you excel yourself. Brilliant.

Isn't that international week?
-
So we will have a 3 week break between Norwich and Watford - albeit 1 of these weeks is due to the international break. It shows how the official "mid season break" (10 days for us) was really a farce.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

"Damn business" Why does Duckie get so worked up when Boris the ****ger's private life gets mentioned ? He keeps using that phrase. Is he jealous of his ****ging ability?? -
Aston Villa take seat at top table but leave with worry they'll never belong https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2020/mar/01/aston-villa-take-seat-at-top-table-but-leave-with-worry-theyll-never-belong? An interesting article. All about Villa but applicable to us and somewhat similar to how I felt after our finals in 2003 and 2017.

God clearly disapproves of Brexit. Every weekend since we left the EU we have had a storm and now a plague is hitting us. It will be locusts next !!

He also disappeared because Pompey kept on being relegated whilst we were getting promoted.

Dont you love it when we make the trolls look stupid.

Unfortunately I cannot make the game today but will be listening on BBC 5 Live as it is their commentary match. I wonder how soon into the commentary will they mention the 9 nil. Will it be before or after kick off?

I see that Eisner had a vote for this year's Oscars. I wonder how he voted?? 1917 for best film as the WW1 trenches reminded him of Fratton Park?? Any Harvey Weinstein movie as he could spot a similarity with him and TCWTB ??

Getting really desperate now. No way are you qualifying for the troll team if you don't pull your socks up. -
If Keown doesn't think much of our support at St Mary's lets just hope that he never finds this forum and reads the matchday threads.

VAR as a system is great. It is the inconsistency in its application that is the problem. When watching the RWC I noticed that the rugby boys have a 3 point "protocol" which they use when making a decision through VAR. It is clear and the crowd can hear the referees working through the protocol. "Did he do this... did he do that... etc etc " The same happens in cricket with lbw decisions where an established procedure is run through. It seems to work in rugby, a sport like football where there is an element of judgement involved and a sport like cricket where facts can be established (the ball would have hit the stumps). Could a similarly publicised, transparent protocol be established for football?

Lol at the dinlos who claimed after 2 matches that we were "clearly" going to get relegated.

How about Poland where they use the zloty ?

Remind me .... how long is it since we beat a top 6 team??
