5 live sports extra are replaying their commentary of the Headingley test v Australia. We are now on the last day and Ben Stokes is batting. Getting ready for his fireworks.

Ah well Guided Missile reckons that Trump is on course for a Nobel Prize. Its difficult to think who is the more deluded out of the two of them.
-
That isnt good news. Sorry to hear that.
-
The first club where players have deferred part of their salaries in the Coronavirus crisis.
-
Have you booked your flights to Stockholm yet for the Nobel Prize presentation???

The OP. Hilarious.

Thank God that this government is so inefficient that its "communication confusion" meant that we didnt join the ventilator scheme. Why did Gove claim that it was an admin error? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/news/uk/michael-gove-admits-communication-confusion-over-eu-ventilator-scheme-mix-up/&ved=2ahUKEwjdvqSZ-NnoAhW7ThUIHZYDAkwQFjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw1z5yVVzHbT--aAp1xG3hBC

York City in the early 70's. Not sure of the venue. Boothferry Park Hull??

Yes that was interesting. I always thought that BMI is a rather crude measure of health as it seems to discriminate against big, strong people. The England rugby team had better watch out. They have high BMI's even though they are all fit young men.

That was the season that was the subject of Lawie Mcmenemy's Diary of A Season. From memory I think that there was a comment in there by Ted Bates along the lines of Gennoe's diving being suspect.

I definitely would wish full and speedy recoveries for Johnson , Cummings and anyone else currently suffering from the virus..... But perhaps Johnson will now realise how foolish he was to proclaim that he was proud to shake patients's hands when he went into hospitals. Perhaps he will also admit that he was wrong to say that contrary to the advice at the time he was going to see his mum on mothers's day. Whilst he has been light years better than his chum Donald, Johnson has not always seemed to treat this virus with the seriousness that it deserves. Is the Government / legislature of any other country affected by coronavirus to the same extent as the UK?
-
So if he was downplaying it why bother with the farce of the daily briefing?
-
I sincerely hope that Johnson makes a full and fast recovery.... But you have to question what on earth is the point of the daily Government briefing. How can Raab answer questions about the PM's health, as he did yesterday, by saying that the PM was in good spirits and carrying on as normal with his red boxes at the same time as Johnson was being taken into intensive care? Either Raab, who is supposed to be deputy PM hasn't got a clue what is going on, or the Government views the briefings as just a bland PR political exercise. We desperately need someone to get a grip. Lets hope that Johnson has a full, quick recovery and provides that control.

I think that you are making yourself look rather silly now. Why dont you just agree to disagree with medical experts, the Government and the opinions of most people and move on?

If my response to the Arsenal question is correct.... Which Saints player scored the last League goal at Maine Road?
-
Arsenal. 3-2 ??? Didnt the ball hit his knee and went in from a yard out.
-
Against which team have Saints recorded the most Premier League wins?
-
Martin Chivers????

125,000 was the figure quoted yesterday in the Government briefing by the Director if Public Health England. I suppose she is wrong as well 'cos a bloke who works in a cafe in Weston super mare must know more about immunology than her.
-
125,000 NHS staff are showing symptoms (source Government briefing today). 2,000 of these have been tested. We need these people at work asap so I would say that yes, NHS staff do need to be tested.
-
I am not sure what your point is. Petty political point scoring in the manner of the usual PMQs is not required at the moment but the news today that only 2,000 frontline staff out of a 500,000 workforce have been tested for Coronavirus is shocking. Are Governments no longer accountable to anyone? Do we now need a WW2 style government of national unity - preferably once Labour have elected a replacement for Corbyn?
