  1. That was my question. In the Sun last weekend it had Saints, Norwich and Charlton as the largest payers of agents fees - between us paying 20% of all CCC fees, I think was the figure. So, why? Why Mr Lowe? Kim need to make some Harryesque payments? Sounds VERY strange to me when we are in such a financial state.
  2. Lawrie Mac would be my first choice on the legends list, followed by Ted Bates. Not because he has been taking on those at the club who would destroy and take from it, but he was the only manager to win the FA Cup.
  3. Those of you who have us surviving easily when you did the predictions - did you take into account the rise in form of those around us too?
  4. Slightly different when you're playing against robust men in defence though. I think he's simply not good enough and has been put under too much pressure too early without having an experienced professional to play off. Lowe's policy may have ironically set him back several years rather than forward.
  5. I think your idea of the 'minority' is dillusional ol friend. You have to be stark raving mad or related to Lowe not to see that we all want him out for good. You have to be even madder to want him to stay at the club. Which one are you?
  6. Thanks Steve - particularly pleased with the betting link!
  7. We HAVE to protest. Even if Wotte pulls off the most amazing recovery we HAVE to remove Rupert Lowe for good in order for this club to progress united.
  8. I have us relegating - third from bottom.
  9. a) Things got worse in Lowe's last couple of years YES b) Things improved under Wilde's tenure NO c) Things improved under Crouch's short Tenure Yes - slightly d) Things have got better since Lowe has come back NO Crouch is difficult - the rest are no-brainers. I said yes because he had the guts to push for promotion and narrowly missed it. Ambition therefore returned, so he gets a reluctant yes. Things improved briefly under Wilde. Lowe's return killed the club.
  10. Lowe is a cancer. Simple. Sorry, its a nasty phrase, we all know someone who we've lost through it, but there is no better way of describing the effect he has on Southampton Football Club. He has been eating away at it since he arrived and he has to go. FOR GOOD.
  11. mmmmmm... I am prepared to eat humble pie too with regards to Wotte IF he keeps us up. But, with regards to Lowe he still has to be hounded out of this club for good. If not it'll be one more crap decision and idea after another. The man is a menace and even if we do stay up will keep fans away. Lowe must be sacked. He's a loser and just causes damage.
  12. Lowe failed. Now we're in business.
  13. One more game and I will apologise to Wotte.
  14. That's Lowe's tune!
  15. Dont change it - it seems to work!
  16. Dont change it - it seems to work!
  17. I'm slightly concerned Wotte will take this too far if we lose the next match...
  18. 2-1 Ipswich win
  19. We need to get out there and sell this Club.... the question is why aren't we and why are so-called fan's leaders not pushing for this either? mmmmmmm... make's you wonder.
  20. No such thing as false optimism in football... its another intangible that makes it fun. One has to assess the realities of the situation with one's head rather than heart though. Head = still in the relegation zone. Still have the worst chairman in SFC history. Still have a coach with dubious player support. Still have a divided boardroom. Relegation looms, but what's worse is that with the current leadership (or lack of it) Saints will actually continue to fall thereafter. If we stay up, we face a similar season next season under Lowe whatever the league. You can have optimism once the catalyst for failure and low confidence is removed for good. Lowe.
  21. Heart: Yes Head: (Lowe+damage done+strange manager etc) NO.
  22. On our way to staying up... but still going down... the table doesnt lie.
  23. Correct - and MUST be removed for this club to unite and progress. Keep protesting against Lowe and Wilde. Its accountability time!
