Golden Thread. Absolutely true. The removal of JP and more significantly the return of senior players to the side is a result of fan pressure in my opinion. Keep protesting and we'll see the back of Lowe himself and seek an owner and we can get a new leader too. Fans can do this, no doubt in my mind at all.

No way have we reached our lowest point. I am afraid its as simple as confidence in strategic leadership to make the right decisions. We have no strategic leadership and a Chairman called Rupert Lowe out for his own personal gain. Sorry, but as long as Lowe is in a position of influence over decision making this Club has a long way to fall. We are still going down. We have had two better performances against underachieving teams on the day. I am not convinced we'll survive, Lowe will take us into League 1 yet. 3-4 more back to back wins and I may change my mind. But, the evidence is not convincing enough.... yet.

Although it was Wotte who put JP in place through Lowe. Paradox there dont you think? It was Wotte who convinced Lowe the youth experiment could work. I hope Wotte keeps us up to redemm himself some footballing pride before he's sacked with his master if I'm being honest. I dont think the players are playing for Wotte - although he is certainly more animated on the touch line than Mr Nice Guy without resources. I think (and hear) the players are playing for themselves... we have a leader in the camp... a senior player... its not (just) Wotte.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. GET THE FOOL OUT OF THIS CLUB FOR GOOD. We are in this mess because of Lowe. HIS youth policy, HIS Mismanagement of senior players, his personal scheming, his ineptitude. Lowe = fans staying away. Lowe = No confidence. Lowe = Cancer of SFC. He won't just go away - he'll be back to ruin it further if allowed to get away with this crap. He'll think he can do anything! Sorry but if x2 wins against underperforming sides mean Lowe is now a genius some people need to seriously look at the bigger picture over time. Lowe = loser. Lowe is now humiliated NOT to be hailed as a genius. HIS policies have failed - look at the team - this is not a Lowe team of youth - it is a stark recognition that playing kids doesnt work. We still have too many kids in this team, we are still likely to relegate. Sorry, but LOWE MUST GO FOR GOOD for this Club to rebuild and go forward with confidence, regardless of any major miracles that Wotte pulls off.

I want to go for a win. But I suspect a draw. It will not depend on what we do but how Cardiff approach the game. If they look at Preston's result and play for a draw it will be 1-1. If they play to win they will take all 3 points. So, tricky one this week. Depends on what Cardiff are playing for. Head: Draw 1-1 Heart: win 2-0.

The boardroom provide the guidance and resources for the manager who then provides the team. The boardroom also provide any constraints on his too eg playing DMG continually when he has not been good enough, Lowe's youth policy and policy of excluding the higher earners to force them to leave etc. Therefore the boardroom is the key. So I suspect GM the answer to your question is 'yes'

Wes - thanks for posting that. There are many examples of this over the years. Lowe IS as suggested, either that or its been a rather well concocted conspiracy for many many years.

OK... guess what I think about that statement. I think it makes a degree of sense... a compromise but makes sense. CEO gets my vote, always has. Having Lowe as a director would at least mean he wasnt running the show and he'd be being humiliated by having to stand down. Rather he left but it's a potential stepping stone. There is one thing missing though. An undertaking for all to search for a buyer and new direction for the Club. THAT IS KEY. WE MUST SELL THIS CLUB TO PROGRESS. Getting the local MPs involved is a master stroke - as I hope it will lead to an improved position when actively seeking a buyer later. As compromises go, its a start. A stepping stone that saves a degree of face for most actors without totally humiliating them. Allows them to eventually leave head held high... always give your enemies a chance to walk away once you're certain you've won. But until its accepted by Lowe - KEEP PROTESTING.
