Thought we were very poor TBH. Adkins got it wrong starting Hammond instead of Morgan. Chaplow going off really hurt us & leaving Morgan on the right was also a mistake. Had a bad feeling before the game as well. They put 10 behind the ball & hit us with pace. Only Morgan, Cork & Fraser came out of it with any credit. Maybe Adkins should have put Guly to right midfield & played a 5 like they did?? Rickie, Fox, Guly were very poor. Worst of the season performances. Special word for the ref who gave them absolutely everything. Fella goes through the back of Cork whilst pushing him over - play on. I think on a different day a different ref may not have been so tolerant. That said we were not great going forward............ Still if you had offered me this position in July I would have bit your hand off! Need to win on Tuesday to build the momentum again.

I employed a wait & see attitude when Adkins was appointed. I had concerns & we have put in some poor performances during his tenure. That said, he has delivered an outstanding team work ethic & ultimately to his & his staffs credit this is the fittest Saints team I have ever seen!!!! He deserves all the plaudits for his work & our results. We play with a fluency & determination that other teams in the champ cant live with. Lets also not forget Cortese's part in this. He appointed him & deserves some credit for that. Long may our run continue!!

Whenever i buy Saints kits for the kids, I always think they are stupid money. But then as I watch all of them get handed down through my 3 boys onto my nephews & nieces I come round to thinking that they actually wear really well & get worn all the time at either football training, matches & just messing around. So for the amount of time they are used I actually think they become decent value.............

We have gone more direct because the opposition are closing us down further up the park to stop us playing football. Thats why when we score 1 goal we look like scoring 5 because they have to change their defensive 'stop us playing' tactics.................. From what I saw at Cov - i think he is worth a punt, but £3m seems way over the odds. My hunch is that either Maynard or Jay Rod will join us in January.

January & February look really tough to me. If we can come through that in the top 2 then I think we can get straight up. Worries - away form, losing Rickie, complacancy & expectation.................. I am still pinching myself. As much as VFTT says we will go up, i wont believe it until it happens, but MOMENTUM is a very powerful thing to stop!! And we have that in bucket loads.

They came as they did last year to niggle & moan & stop us playing. They showed a little going forward first half & we were not at our fluent best. As soon as we scored the game was over. 2nd was not a pen. The 3rd looked a dead cert. Navarro should have been booked in the first half for a foul on Hammond, but the play never stopped. 2nd half he got booked for foul on Morgan - should have been sent off. For all of their moaning they never had a shot on goal!! For the 55 minutes before we scored & after Mr Poyet. The ref was poor, we should have had at least 2 other penalties & I really hope that they slide down the table & into oblivion. CMS is quality, but Poyet plays him left midfield!! When Adkins made the comment after the game about it, I hope Poyet realised just how defensive his horrible little team is!!

Was/Is a bad ref - terrible against Leeds, but the absolute worst was the guy at Tranmere 2 seasons ago. Shocking, even their manager said we had 2 dead cert pens & 2 others that looked decent..................I remember every single member of the team spoke to the referee after that game......................

There is no way we will pay £2m for him. I would be surprised if we spend £1m TBH. Celtic have financial issues. Thats why they are farming out Joss, O'Dea at Leeds & a couple of other players. I reckon we will have to pay between £500k & £750k, but the deal will an unconfirmed amouth to keep Celtic from not looking like muppets.

Spurs in the cup was his best game for us. That day he was pure class!!!!!

Last year they came to spoil & ***** at the referee. Kishishev ran the match & they got a very dodgy penalty. I think they will do exactly the same again. Conscious CMS has the pace to cause us trouble, but I reckon we can win in a very tight game. Its going to be difficult to pick the 2 in the middle of the park. Its the kind of game Hammond loves, but Morgan played very very well up at Cov so not sure what Adkins will do. It would be great to see Rickie bang in a couple too!!

Lets not forget what happened with Elliot Ward & Liam Fontaine when press got word without our knowledge............

This makes sense on all levels. We have no cup games until January, he wont get in the 16 ahead of DeRidder, Connolly & Barnard, He needs to play regularly & if we have a lot of injuries we can call him back.

I thought he was a handful & we struggled with his physical prescence. I would take a punt on him if it were for £250 - £500k. He would certainly be a very able deputy for Lambert. Lets not forget, a lot of clubs did not want to gamble on Lambert until Pardew took a punt. He is young & has potential IMHO.

Adkins has said he is only interested in signing 'better' than we already have. If he signs Sharp, Rodriguez or anyone else he will view them as better than we have. Wether we go up or not, I cant see him giving DC another contract next year. Therefore RL, Guly, LB & an other will be our 4 attackers. That is how many you need.

We were poor & we got a point.................12 months ago we were in the bottom half of the 3rd division FFS. I know we can do better, but Adkins honesty in the post match interview was great. We were poo & got a 1pt!!! We passed poorly & I personally believe we need to get a loan striker in as DC has been pretty poor for the last 3 or 4 games. Davis Joos were excellent today. Fonte's form this season has been a worry too.

Depends on the price. £250k - yes probably, but I think we can get better...............

Reading priced him out of a move to us. They thought we could be held to ransom. I always thought he could be a good player in the champ. The coach at Stoke who looks after my nipper reckons Davies likes a drink or 6 & is to quote 'a bit thick even for a footballer!' - No loss imho. I always thought McGoldrick was rubbish...........................no where near as good as he thought he was/is!
