I was at the game in Kiev for our last meeting. Pirlo ran the show from start to finish and I fully expect him to do the same. We would have learnt nothing.
He has had an absolute nightmare here. Who the **** is advising him?! Then again he's 26, he should be able to work out the way to go about it himself.
He's over the moon, fair play to him. Completely gutted though, I'd have been heartbroken if Le Tiss went when I was a kid so I feel for those who see him as a hero. That was horrible viewing.
He's a very good mate of mine, season ticket holder and regular away traveller. A top bloke too. I was only out with him on Sunday and this is totally not in his character! Everyone keep your eyes peeled.
I'd suggest that those who see themselves as British in NI wouldn't want to be part of a free Ireland, as it would then mean they live in Ireland. They'd probably want to come back to Britain in that instance.
If we keep appointing managers who improve us and then leave after 18 months, then it shouldn't be too long until the cycle reaches its conclusion with us as European champions and the manager having nobody else to go to.
