When (if??!) the good times return, will you recieive the benefits? Will your company make an effort to reward you for your hard work and loyalty during the tough times? Genuine question. Because you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as they return, I'm pretty sure the governement of the time won't be rushing to reinstate the pensions the public sector are currently receiving. They will only ever get worse, regardless of the economic climate.

Exactly, and the reason its not like that is because there are more then enough benefits to private sector work too. This one way envy and point scoring is nauseating.

I would love to know who held a gun to the head of all these private sector and self employed workers? Everyone knows the potential benefits of certain jobs and people make a choice. If you choose to have a job with a crap pension or no holiday, that's up to you.

We are the public sector, we'll strike when we want.

On my online account, there are two tickets on there and two bus purchases on there. It says the bus leaves at 12.15. No idea if that will be the case or not, but if it is we'll never make kick off. It may well be staggered departures and I just happen to be on the last bus. Who knows? I don't think the club or police really do and that's half the problem.

Buses aren't leaving St Mary's until 12.15! Looks like they don't plan on getting us there until the very last minute.

Spot on. The bubble is inconvenient for those not living in Southampton, but the majority are using it as an excuse. What possible reason any Saints fans can have to miss this game I've no idea, especially when you consider our last few results against them.

I only read things online, usually BBC. That will always have everything I need to know as I'm not particularly interested in all the other rubbish that fills the pages. Newspapers are for over 50's and builders only. IMO.

You'd like to think the ticket office have been sorting the applications into some sort of order as and when they recieved them, rather than just waiting to try and do them all after the deadline...

Their best friend the video camera was out in force once again. I watched them locate a person to arrest, zoom the camera in on them for a good 5 minutes, and then walk in and arrest him for nothing more than singing.
