Let's see how everyone celebrates promotion at the end of the season if we get it, and then we'll ask the question again. This league is alright as a novelty factor, going away to some grounds we haven't been for a while, even a couple of new ones for me like Blackburn and Rotherham thrown in for good measure. It's great if you're doing well and winning, but I don't remember it being much fun during the days of the Dutch duo. It would be the most depressing league to get stuck in, and we'll head that way if we fuck up the next couple of years. Look at Birmingham City, they must have been down here for 10 years, ditto Blackburn.

Bree has had a decent two games and Aribo did alright for 20 minutes today. Not quite sure that’s proven anything to be honest, they both need to do it over a much longer period.

It was indeed. Scored something like 92 and managed to concede 93 in true Saints style. Luke Shaw made his debut that game if memory serves me correctly.

Improved second half but that wasn’t difficult. Good finish from Fraser and up to 5th, proving you just have to be a little bit better then shit in this god awful league to probably make the play offs.

Reminds me of the chaos trying to get to Wigan for the cup 1/4 final in the snow a few years back. Delighted I made the decision to swerve today although I’m gutted to be missing out on our possession based winning football.
