Of course we want them both but the amazing thing is that if we get neither we have Gardos and Targett waiting for their chance, so we are covered. But to answer the question I would choose Toby

No favours to Saints by Man City and Arsenal in Europe this week

We've lived through a revolution, we are now monitoring the teams at the top instead of the teams at the bottom -
We all love Rickie and he will always be a symbol of our rise but bring him back? no thanks, that would ruin his reputation, he began the exodus, he made the choice, he has to face the consequences, we have moved on but I'm afraid he is stuck with his own decision.
-
No thank you. Going back anywhere seldom works. ok it did when Mick Channon came back but Rickie is no Channon. We've moved on, and he chose what he chose.
-
Why does Kevin think he was part of the team that ended second? He never played a match that season having left the year before.
-
Gaston is a sad case, he is ruining his own career, a contact in Hull says he is nowhere near their team. Can you think of other cases of great talent wasted?

Will Roko and the board go for broke in January!!!

We don't buy world class players, the strength and special skill of our club - which more and more people admire- is that we turn good players into top players, some even to world class players (while they are with us). So sign up Toby and Bertrand, perhaps buy another playmaker for tuppence that no one except Les had heard of----and into the Champions League we go! -
They never really wanted to play for Saints after being transferred to us.

Who was the Polish guy Sawaniski or something, the centre forward who got a contract and never did another thing. -
Give it a go, it escapes the obsession with Pompey and my kids can join in without embarrassing swearing
-
good luck against L'pool, for sure all Saints fans will be rooting for you! By the way, rather you than us!

When will the media stop writing 'despite losing......in the summer'

Has Alpine stopped posting, hope he hasn't died -
Reminds me of Omerod, running, making space for others, occupying the opposition, a working class addition, not a celebrity, suits me, good to have in the squad.
-
I've a lot of affection for Bournemouth and they are no threat to us, It's good to see a south coast club which has not cheated and is not fraudulent and has paid the tax man, doing well. Let's wish them well, until we play them
-
If we win we will be drawn against Liverpool. It is written!

Yes, we've lived through a footballing miracle. Off the field credit to Marcus who made it possible, Nicola who drove it and the three managers who each did their part and laid the foundations for the fourth to take it further. And credit to Uncle Les in the bachground, why does he still get stick, he's played a masterclass
-
Congrats to Nicola who set it all up from an argumentative shambles
-
Thanks, yes, he looks a toughy behind his brother's smiling front--probably a good combination
-
I still don't know which is Erwin, any pics?

Can't understand the people who slate Adkins, Cortese and Les Reed. They are the big three (apart from Markus of course) who have brought us up, shaped us and given us a great platform to build on, I'm sorry Lallana walked out on us but he was a big part of it too and I can't bring myself to slate him, tho' I do laugh every time L'pool lose.
-
If we get in any European tourny we will need a larger squad and that's not the time to put too many academy players in, so a few old hands would be essential. Then we would have to pay big money wages for someone to sit on the bench most of the time. guess this is why clubs our size question the value of being in Europe at all

I would like us to be self-sustainable, who wouldn't, but is it possible in today's top flight? Wenger has tried at Arsenal and was helped by being able to pick up our young stars but even he has had to buy big now (Ozil for example). We will only be self sustained by constantly selling our star players, we've got away with it this time (brilliantly) but it's high risk and I wouldn't want to bet on such success a second time. Neither would I want another summer like we've just had. Bad for dicky tickers!
-
Interesting that they lost Pelle and both Koemans and still wish them well and follow them, perhaps that explains why Koeman was not pleased when we abused Poch. I'm always hoping L'pool lose now, and I used to like them but these Feyenord guys are becoming Saints fans, very strange

I was so sad and a bit angry when they left, but have them back? you must be joking, we've moved on and I'm more than happy with what we've got. Chambers, his move was a bit different from the others and he's a quick learner, he will get better, I would have him back but Clyne would be first choice
