Did I say anything about Barnard or Connolly, did I say anything against Lambert we all know what he did for us and what we did for him, i just said he began the exodus. Now I add, he made his Liverpool bed (very foolish) now he has to lie on it, he wouldn't get in this team, except as an occasional sub, as at Liverpool
-
I don't get the worship of Lambert, he did well for us thro' the divisions and he had a fairy story England debut thanks to what we had made him but he began the exodus. I'm sorry but I don't wish any of that lot well. I feel differently about Walcott because the Club at that time was a total mess spiralling out of control
-
Of course Chambers left too early for his own good but he was in the England team within a month and was laughing all the way to the bank but its been too much to sustain and Clyne is 100% the better bet for us and for England, Chambers needs us more than we need him
-
The trouble is, he's just what Arsenal need and haven't got, if he had been playing for them Wenger will think the score would have been reversed. I hope he hasn't sold himself. Glad to see Walcott Oxo and Chambers put in their place by the team they left to better themselves, next year it could be Big Vic as well

What's the point in going through all this stuff again? It's last year's news
-
if he comes it will be goodbye to JayRod and he will fetch £15m even after his injury, we've got to leave these decisions to the people who give the cash and balance the books, the cost isn't our business
-
What's the timing for Clyne's return, anyone know?
-
Be careful what you say about McGoldrick, we face him Sunday and it won't surprise me one jot if he scores the winner after all the abuse he's had on this site
-
It was such a desperate struggle, it was so tense a lot of supporters (me for one) where probably holding their breath, checking their heart beat or -like the guy next to me- saying 'I can't watch, what's happened' all of which makes shouting or singing difficult. Anyway I thought the support sounded good, it encouraged me
-
How can anyone complain about any of our defenders today? With two main ever present full backs out, we still confined the top scorers to one shot on goal, the defence deserved 10/10 today---all of them
-
just like we thanked NC when he took us from bottom to top in record time
-
Products from our academy all speak good English and make an intelligent interview, so l'pool present him for their PR, don't expect any of their own could do it
-
Valuable squad member. £12m is a lot but that's the way it is, anyway he is young with time to adapt to our way and become a 20m asset. I like the way he runs wide, draws defences out and creates space where we want it,

Eljero Elia - Confirmed 6 Month Loan
Dellman replied to Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd's topic in The Saints
He's going to need everyone's backing because once the press give a dog a bad name, and they've already done that. come on my boy, just you show us you're a true Saint! -
The Ht thing was all words, mostly unheard, that huge space needs some activity not people standing still talking to each other . It was meaningless and lamentable!
-
Well, he's got ability, we've all been told that but you need more that that in the Premioership and neither Saints nor Hull have seen the other qualities: fitness, commitment, workrate. I'm afraid no one will want him and we are stuck with a long expensive contract. What a shame to waste talent and career, while the cash piles up
-
What cup final was that?
-
Sadly Gaston is a wasted talent, what is wrong in his head to waste a career? Of course he is pulling in the pounds big time. Jason P gives everything, we could have done with him last night, but he wanted to go
-
idiot! And Cortese's management appointments were brilliant, hence bottom to top in short time
-
McGoldrick was young, a beginner in a failing team and a club heading downhill to administration. The club has to take its share of the blame and McG has done better in other places. Good luck to him!
-
Never mind, it was a vital point
-
'Arry's type, money no object, admin to follow and then 'I had nothing to do with the money, honest, anyway I can't read or write, my dog signed him'

tHERE WAS SO MUCH AGGRO AGAINST BRANFOOT THAT THE SHEARER LOSS WAS JUST PAR FOR THE COURSE
