OMG have you been watching this season? He is the key to our defensive success and he is still young and improving, I guess there is not a Premiership club that does not want him, but we've got him and must hold him
-
So true! Early season we had goals coming from defence and midfield, all angles. now that has completely dried up Pelle gets all the blame
-
I want Bournemouth to come up because they are well run, play good football, have come from nothing and have never had such an opportunity. Just what football needs! I can't treat them as hostile or as rivals, that will always be reserved for the cheats down the road.
-
I want Burnley to stay up, they've played better than their position suggests and they have no funds but a high spirit, like us in our days of relegation battles. And I would like Villa to go down because they are the opposite, loads of facilities and good players but with no spirit and a manager I can't stand. However what I want in football seldom happens!

Was Bill the last of the post war team? Incidentally he woiuld have played more for England if he hadn't got pneumonia (very serious in those days) and he was sidelined for so l;ong that Alf Ramsey took his place in the Saints side and then in the England side as well. Wasn't he the first of our great line of penalty kickers?

My paper (Independent) is worried that poor Chelsea might be without Costa because he might pull a hamstring. They don't mention Southampton will be without their goalkeeper probably for the rest of the season. All they say about him is that England will miss him in the squad for Friday

Mogan is a class act, he wouldn't blast it like RL, he would stroke it and send the goaly the wrong way but Tadic again--no thanks, he scares me
-
Isn't it good to be watching and worrying about the top teams and how it affects us instead of the bottom teams, that makes it a good season, nothing to worry about except the summer sales
-
It has to be a defender, they've all been good, better thn good b..y brilliant, I go for big Vic and Captain Fonte, can't be separated
-
Fans expect instant success. We don't consider normal human things like missing family, not knowing the language, different style of play. Van Gaal now says it will take a year foir his £69million purchase to settle, the fans didn't give Mane two weeks
-
Yes, blame for being fifth in the Premiership!

can we not get a loan striker in for the final push for europe?

who do you suggest? -
I want to be big fan of JWP because he's one of ours and I love seeing the young ones come through. but he is disappointing at the moment, he doesn't seem to be any better now than two years ago. He should have scored half a dozen this season but his shooting is powder puff strength. He runs and runs, must be super fi,t but he doesn't control in midfield he always seems to be running trying to catch up. I wonder if he has been used in too many different positions, he seems capable of filling in anywhere. He just hasn't made one position his own
-
Recently Morgan has either been injured or not at his best, he cost us on sunday. I would prefer young Reed at the moment. MS will go in the summer but the value is falling. Lucky if we get £20m, probably nearer £12m, out of form and injury prone
-
Don't get the Lambert love-in. He plays (sometimes) for Liverpool. End of.
-
The biggest loss would be Big Vic
-
He was so much better than Lovren and I get the feeling he wants to be here or why would he sign such a long contract? Maybe He recognises RK as a great defender to learn from, don't know what he would learn from that Lpool manager, did he ever play the game?
-
Didn't we sign Mane and Elia and haven't they scored goals already and look like scoring more? And we've got JayRod nearly ready and Long as well. You can only play a couple at a time, they'll be getting splinters in their ar.. and wanting to move on in the summer. It's a question of getting the best out of what we've got, not just adding to the club's wage bill and the player's frustration.

My MoM today, how do we vote/
-
Absolutely spot on, Lambert did well but he opened the flood gates. We got him his fame and fortune, he should be thanking us
-
I felt sorry for Carberry, he is a great one day player who was taken to aussie as a five day Test player (didn't do badly) and then got sent home just when the one dayers began...that sort of bad management has ruined too many players

Plane(s) to fly over St Mary for Liverpool game - Lambert / Lallana

Our league position says enough. ignore them
