  1. Never understood a word Lambert said, he needed an interpreter--and that's for the English speakers, no wonder they under performed

    Mane

A new player needs some time and a lot of encouragemnt from team mates and fans. Imagine being new in a country and not even speaking the language, it's bound to take a bit of time. The club looked after him and his team mates looked after him but the fans who should be the front line supporters were an embarrassment. What's the point of calling themselves supporters if all they do is mock a new comer?
  3. The goal that wasn't a goal would have been disallowed on both counts according to the ref himself. Can't see what is lucky about that

    Shane Long

I've got broken ribs, doc tells me it will be six weeks, they heal themselves and the only healer is time. by the way every laugh sets them back ten days, coughing is worse and celebrating Mane's winner probably cost a month
  5. These late winners may be a freakish run of good luck that will end or it may be they are very fit and stand the pace longer, which will continue. Poch does believe in working his players extra hard which they ought to do for the money they get but when Spurs beat us last yeat at WHL and Poch was our manager, they got two late goals. Yes, they must be on a long lucky streak
  6. Where's Dodd and Williams now?
  7. yes, since NC arrives
  8. He'll be a highly paid TV pundit and we'll have to see the moron every week
  9. He's got an excuse just when he kneeded it
  10. Most Saints fans on here, including me, spend a lot of emotion hoping L'pool lose every match and that L, L and L don't succeed. I want to beat them and end above them more than anything this season. So it amazes me that all these Dutch friends are so nice to us and seem to wish us well, thanks guys, you make me feel I want to support your lot and I hope you do well in spite of us raiding your manager and players. football is dog eat dog, horrible attitudes really. COYR and Feyenoord
  11. Poch had handled him before and thought he could do again, I guess it was after this fiasco that our vetting of character system was given more attention, now we seem to have a manager a bit more realistic about himself and who he wants:
  12. Any funding available should support the proper team, that's where I expect my money to go and if KL continues to fund us I hope that will be where her support goes
  13. We might get a nice surprise--and within 48hours! I doubt RK will let the squad weaken unless he has plan B ready to go
  14. It might be convenient for the club to keep him and add to squad strength but if he wants first team every week in the premiership, Swansea is about right, they haven't got an academy bursting with young hopefuls
  15. If he has been offered a contract and doesn't sign it, that's it. Can't see why folk say that's our fault, it's his decision. pity, but that's businees, he thinks he can do better somewhere else (doubt it) but ti will make space for the next generation
  16. Cork without Morgan is exposed and without Big Vic more so, he's done a good job for us but this is a parting which is not a heartbreak, we can do better
  17. Rickie was loved at St mary's and he knew it. At Anfield he is just another body around the place and he knows that too, foolish move but we got the best out of him, he's legless now.
  18. With a minute to go Rickie slammed the ball over the bar, he was scoring those for us, he's lost confidence and match fitness but his wallet must be bulging
  19. I've broken ribs at the moment and i can tell you pain relief is essential because every movement, cough, laugh shakes the ribs, the broken bits don't like it and sleep is not possible without pain killers, the most powerful type
  20. If he turns us down at this stage of our 'rise' he is either a clown or realises there are more ££££££ elsewhere, almost certainly that's what counts.
  21. Yes, Reed did well in the three away wins, we missed him, Cork had a terrible game, he needs good players around him
  22. Spot on! Why is it we expect imports to be the finished article? Poor Sadio Mane got a terrible roasting on this site and was completely written off after two games, JWP has been given two seasons and still isn't the finished article, his 'shooting' y'day was awful
  23. Cork was a waste of space today and didn't look interested , Harrison Reed did well in those three away wins, I would rather have seen him
  24. Don't kid yourself Lawrie Mac left for the big money sunderland were offering him at the time but all he got them were relegations
  25. When JWP starts scoring no one will stop him, another Lampard in tghe making, but quicker COYR
