Not what my mate said - cheap to get there but he spent a fortune and mixed it up between the posh and dodgy bits

I think they should all face backwards and drive with the use of a flatscreen and cameras

It's all starting to make sense, I always had my suspicions Langkawi looks good, heard some good reports on my travels I reckon Cuba would be a goodun' - it might start to lose some of it's magic if Castros grip starts to slip failing that Bakino Faso

I thought it would get boring after all the 'who is going to buy us' threads of the summer - I like being us but still keeping a humble head on, we were that close to being taken over by a bunch of muppets

No one worried at the level of spending..?

I can't believe some of the 'whats ifs' flying around FFS: -NC is a trusted servant of ML, been running his accounts and investments for years -everthing NC does is under scruntiy and he is gonna make unpopular decisions, that's what successfull people do -ML dosen't come across as a playboy dodgy character who's out for a quick buck and will use us -NC and ML seem measured and forward thinking -ML has stated he was drawn to the history and link to the church (granted that theres very little left of the church thing) -they're investing money in a business, that's what wealthy successfull people do, matters not a jot if if it's from his back pocket or not the end result is speculate to accumulate - although I still think there is an element of philanthropy going on however small we're just not used to being in this position and some people just can't get their heads around it relax and let it takes it course. Cut the men some slack and let's see how we go -

Well said TOA - who is to say many things might or might not happen, just don't get the doom and gloom approach to our set up. Most people we're more upbeat before we went in to admin -
Surely that has to be the way forward - can't see it happening though.

Based on Delldays obsession with money and Man City it got me thinking that at some point things have to find there level - natural selection if you will. It is surely not sustainable to continue to pay players so much money, even Man U would've have posted a loss if it wasn't for Ronaldo. How does Baseball in America fund itself, is it all from tickets, TV and sponsorship. Do you think the big guns running the sport will ever start putting in place incentives like F1 tried to do, £40 million budgets with incentives for team that stick to it etc.

I still think there is an element of philanthropy here - ML aint no spring chicken and he has the dosh to spread around. We may be spending big but as investments go it's gotta be a good one, why buy players just good enough to get you out the league when you'll have to do another round of buying for the next league - we seem to be preparing for the Champ, shrewd move. -
Been boarding up at Telegraph Woods on the golf course next to the Rose Bowl, much fun, a few jumps and the bunkers made for a laugh - although some unfortunate must off have got tw*ted a goodun as the Air Ambulance landed while we were there and carted them off, hope they're ok

You must be on acid -
I maybe nearly 40 but when it's snows I feel like I'm 5

I abandoned my car just off the M27 at Bursledon, rescued little-un from nursery on foot, then rescued the missues who had abandoned her car in Hedge End - now thankfully sipping a shandy and eating a chilli, phew! After spending 10 hours getting home when it snowed around Basingstoke before Xmas I count myself lucky to be able to spend the 2 hours I did getting the family home.

Brighton away so we can spank their asses and show them it was a one off - hopefully

Either way and the taxes aside all this climate change is at least making mankind look seriously at how we treat the planet and it's resources - it's focused us into looking at improvements and effeciencies in producing power that up until now has been lazy and seen as a cash cow.

Happy Crimbo one and all - we exit this year in alot better state than we started it, the futures so bright that I gotta where shades

They do seem to reflect what is rotten in the game, various dodgy crooks passing through the halls of Fratton with no legacy other than some short term success bought on the wealth of a few with no interest in building the club in a sustainable manner - they should be applauded Makes me realise how lucky we currently are
-
I really like the guy but I have to agree with you that I think he does, then again I think I would be if I had, F1 champ, his job, his money and of course his missus

A brief trip to Helmand may improve the general outlook of Xmas!!!
