  2. More chance that he won't want the embarrassment of playing for fans who get all upset that we're playing Bournemouth in a friendly. He (and the other players) will probably quite like the idea of turning them over though.
  3. Bree is the obvious one to stay. Decent championship RB. I can't see KWP wanting to stick around, although I suspect he won't have a massive list of suitors after last season.
  4. Short
  5. Handcuffs
  6. Ray too. Quiz question - who was the talented kid who was the 3rd player in that move? Never made it sadly.
  7. Sure, but it rarely ends well. Sadly he'll go if he wants to, and a sensible bid comes in. That contract will help us get top dollar.
  8. Rumours... who knows where the truth lay though. Regardless of the striker situation, Shields signed loads of kids and left us well short of what we needed to survive. Yep, it was a shit show though.
  9. Yep. I'm not sure that Shields going was a bad thing. He made a mess in the summer by putting our faith in loads of untested kids, and didn't get us a striker.
  10. It's been said a million times - the only relevance of a long or recent contract is that gives us strength on the fee. That said, I'd be disappointed if this kid wants out so early. He's a terrific player who'd rip up the championship imo.

  12. Jeez, here you go again, piping up the next day. As for what you've posted, if it's always someone else, it usually isn't SoG.
  13. Wave
  14. It was 'bless' SoG because it was a bit pathetic (suggesting I'm not allowed in a gang - double bless). I couldn't be arsed to get into it with you, but here you are in your own irritating way, piping up the next day wanting a row. I couldn't give a monkeys what you or anyone on here think about me - it's a forum mate, but you seem a bit consumed by it and it's users. What is obvious though is that you reap what you sow, but can't see what you're doing. Take your post to me. You whine about being followed around the forum by people, but do it in a post resurrecting something from yesterday, that relates to a post from me replying to you in which you were name calling, again. And yep, you are like my sister when we were kids. Like you, she would poke the bear only to complain when she took a swipe. If you're in ant doubt why you get a load of stick on here and other forums, read back the stuff you post. The answers are all there. If you can't see it, and I suspect you can't, there's no helping you. Don't waste one of your 3 on me SoG, I'm off round my sisters. She's a decent human being these days.
  15. You're judging him as a PL player. We're a championship club, as are Leicester. Coady will be superb at this level - far better than Lyanco and Stephens.
  16. Not sure how you get to that from a few people saying they'd have liked to have seen us sign Coady.
  17. On the assumption that we sell ABK and Salisu, Coady would have been a massive upgrade on our remaining CB's. Good signing by Leicester.
  18. The Ozzies are a better team I agree, but the way bazball has been played in this game has given them this game, and probably the ashes, on a plate. As to best combined 11, on current form I'd probably agree with you - no room for any English players. As to our 11, we've gotta find room for Foakes. To play at this level without your best keeper isn't clever.
  19. You remind me a bit of my older sister when we were kids. She was always pinching or nibbling at me, and was generally an irritating little cow. Like you she cried and whined when she got a deserved slap, and like you she could never see that she got what she deserved.
  20. Yep...he's lucky that football bans are famed for their forgiveness.
  21. Not ideal!! He was 16/17 though when he came out with that nonsense.
  22. There's loads of kids who score lots of goals against other kids. Very few of those kids go on to score lots of goals against men at a good level. So far he looks more of a Sam Gallagher than an Alan Shearer. Hopefully the lad goes on to have a good career, but I'm glad we didn't throw £30m at signing him.
  23. Lavia was the exception of course...it's Bazunu and Larios that irks me, plus Edozie to some extent (the kid we signed from Spurs will surpass Edozie imo). I'm not sure why City were so keen to sell Lavia. Personally, o don't see him as the second coming as some do. There's limitations to his game (can be slow to use it, offers little movement off the ball and between the lines) and I can only assume that City see his ceiling as not being as high as some others do. What City see in Delap is anyone's guess though.
  24. It's bad enough that we gave city hard cash for the other 3. Fortunately we didn't buy this kid as well.
