Good. The way people reacted to us not signing a kid who'd never played men's football was bewildering.

I was just starting the campaign for the likes Ron. Can't have them left out!
-
I've said before that the issue for him is who'd want him and play him. If his choice is Fulham or say a promoted club, is there any point in going? I fancied him to go to Chelsea early on but there's been no noise about that, then West Ham or Villa but seemingly they're looking elsewhere. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Nothing wrong with that mate 👍
-
Nope. No reason whatsoever. It's the most basic and essential utility. Scandalous that it was ever privatised.

I'm not nibbling at that bollox pal.

My thoughts. He came across well. Articulate, calm, understands the needs of the fanbase, etc. Decent first interview imo.

Do you feel you're qualified to say how a woman may or may not feel in the situations this discussion relates to? I sure as hell don't.
-
This thread has become bizarre. How any man feels able to express an opinion on what women should or should not be comfortable with is beyond me.

B team midfielder. Went on loan to a conference south team last year. Good to see that we're not holding onto a kid that won't make it here, and helping him move to a realistic level.
-
It's delusional to think that owners will essentially write off what they've spent and then throw more at players. Let's see what happens, but it's pretty obvious that we'll recoup a hell of a lot more than we spend.

He's not a PL player. He's a championship player. We're a championship team.

Adam Armstrong is Adam Armstrong. Bree is Bree. You're comparing an apple with a cabbage mate.
-
It's clear from a lot of the comments on this forum that people forget where we are now, and that the club will want/need to recoup a lot of money by selling a lot of players.
-
He wasn't out of his depth last season - he was good in the championship, and there's no reason why he won't be this season.
-
Agreed. He'll be decent for us, and confidence in him is perhaps why we're willing to move Tino on.
-
And even weirder that he's a winger and Martin doesn't play wingers.

Courteeners are the best band most people have never heard of. St Jude was immense, and the Re:wired version is something else - the missus managed to get me a signed picture disc if that upon release. Both of those albums are amongst my most valuable vinyl - shows the appeal that they have.

Debbie Harry sounded decent this year, and was good at the IOW too. Starting to look her years, but does well for an old girl. On the well established acts, Depeche Mode are as established as they come and ain't going anywhere, ditto the Killers, Arcade Fire, James refuse to retire. There's countless others and I can see bands like the Courteeners being around for a long long time and gaining fans over time.
