  1. That link doesn't work. If there's more to it than the fella in the bar, then maybe there's sense to the decision.
  2. But they've chosen her, so what's your point?
  3. People got far too excited about a kid who hadn't played mens football, and was about 4th pick for the England youth team.
  4. I agree, but he managed to keep his place in a stoke team that the much lauded delap got dropped from!
  5. .
  6. Having been dropped to the bench in the championship, whereas our own Will Smallbone started. He was never the answer for us.
  7. Yep. I don't see the point in giving him the chance to lose us 6 points. He's a lame horse and needs to be put out his misery asap.
  8. I interpret it the same. Two blokes flirting. The other bloke involved doesn't take issue with it. Some random 3rd party sees it so matey gets sacked. Seems like he tried to pull so gets the sack. Bloke should have stuck to Grindr, he'd still be in a job, and might have got a bit of action.

  10. Yep, what Bournemouth are doing shows that there's managers out there capable of stepping up and working well with average players. Potter did similar when he first went to Brighton.
  11. What do SR do if we get some kind of result today? Won't happen, but by keeping him around, you've got to wander if they're giving him time.

  13. That's how I read it. Feels like it's being set up for a complete change.

  15. I heard it live yesterday. He even said that people could read between his lines. It was a clear insinuation that SR had leaked it. Intriguing what he was saying about the SR guys running the football side of the business and the transfer deals, not Semmens. Strange goings on for sure.
  16. These "he's paid loads"comments irritate me. No professional likes to not meet targets, underperform, fail, receive criticism, get the sack, etc. Getting paid loads won't make Ralph feel happy about the past year and his inevitable sacking.
  17. It's more a case that he's taken us far as he can, it's gone stale, that he's dined out on his purple patch for long enough, that there's now a feeling of inevitability of relegation, so a change is needed.
  18. I'm not sure they will. Defeat against us would be bad enough for them, but even worse if they put out a strong team. I think they'll play kids and fringe players.

  22. There's zero chance he'd come here. He's arguably got a better squad to work with, has a proper centre forward, and a decent scouting network. He'll go somewhere proper next.

  24. Yep, I was typing as you posted. You could slot AMN as cover either side, and Larios may look better on the left than in a 4 where Salisu would give the back post height he doesn't have. I'm surprised we've looked so shit with the system to be honest.
  25. I'm not a great fan, but properly coached, it can be effective. I think part of our problem is that the players didn't look comfortable with it because of how they were coached and/or how we were set up For me, it arguably suits our squad. Back 3 of CC, ABK, MS then 2 wingbacks (Larios doesn't look like a full back to me, but wingback is different), 2 in the middle, 2 number 10's supporting 1 up top or 1 number 10 and 2 up top. I wouldn't rule a manager out of that were his system - what I would rule out is a manager who couldn't make anything from players that he would inherit.
