No vendetta against cyclists Weston but absolutely an issue with people doing what they want whilst others do as they should. If your cycling for hours you are not staying local, unless you're going around the block lots. There's no denying that being outside away from others is as safe as it gets. Sorry to hear about your mate Del. Hopefully he'll be OK. The difficulty of course is people getting the virus and getting on with their lives before they are aware of the need to isolate. Even assuming people isolate when they are told to, the damage has been done and teh virus spreads. The only way prevent that is keeping out of harms way.

If they are capable of acting sensibly, that haven't been. Half a million cases a week don't happen by most people being sensible. It happens with a combination of people being unlucky and acting like idiots. Yep, France is what I had in mind. I heard of a guy pulled over and fined for driving past a Carrefour because he wanted to go to another supermarket further away. The point was that if you need essentials, get them in carrefour as it's nearer your home. Sadly, this country and this thread, is full of people who have the attitude that they think something is ok, or they don't give a fuck, so do it. Spot on. This vague and ambiguous guidance is nonsense. If the intention is to stay within X miles of our homes and go to the nearest shop for essentials, then say so and make it the law with proper meaningful enforcement. With that said, there are too many intelligent people (on here and out there) who's focus still seems to be to do what they want because they deem it safe. I think the time will come, if it hasn’t already, that we need to switch up the 10’s. Diallo is neat and tidy and can run with the ball from deep slightly upfield. In the 10 position you need to be more creative than neat and tidy, and the running is in different areas. Whether he has it in his locker I have no idea. I think JwP has a lot to offer in that position although I take your point that the Romeu/ JwP combo should be our first choice CM pairing. There’s a lot of games and I suspect we’ll see a few permutations but the fact that we’re talking which combinations of players to use shows how far we’ve come under Ralph, and what good options we have. Whilst I wouldn't want to disrupt our midfield to do this, at some point we'll have to play Diallo and Romeu together in the middle. Romeu sitting will allow Diallo to break forward and run between the lines which he's shown he can. Whether Diallo or JwP would be the better 10 we don't yet know, but for me JwP could play the role at least as well as Armstrong and his passing ability in that role could well lead to more goal chances.
