No point scoring by me. I just don't like speculation. Now that you've linked to the press article referring to having seen the letter (I'm still unsure that any of the reporters have seen the letter though) I take your point. Not sure what you mean by the big picture. The club have made a complaint and seemingly are pursuing it. We've kept our counsel in public and so has AL. That's admirable imo.
-
1. You said that the press had seen the letter and are now backtracking. I've got no idea whether they have or haven't. 2. So are you saying that the "insider" is from the club? How do you know where the insider is from? 3. The club, quite rightly, are not seeking trial by media. As for the comment by mannine pub, at least he's reporting what he says he's been told rather than just guessing.

I've just ditched iPhone again and gone back to android. Iphones are very good but they're vastly overpriced and have been overtaken by android.

I'd take 8 mil. Granted he's been a fantastic servant but his best days are behind him. We need a central striker with pace and mobility.
-
He did and is decent there. If we're down to the bones I'd expect to see him feature in a holding midfield role this season at some point.
-
I assume you haven't seen him play. Sadly Gazza is our best option at the moment. Agreed re Jos tho. Hopefully Fonte and Shaw start. If they do we should scrape a draw but i can't see us winning this.

Aka a team game.
-
Correct. He's also done it for Uruguay where he has the intelligent pacy runs of Suarez and others to link up with. He just doesn't have that here and as a result can look ineffective. I agree with Barry though that we lack pace and/or an outlet. That's a bigger problem than a lack of creativity in the middle or the hole. At the moment a creative player doesn't have anyone to really create to and as a result we faff about with the ball in or around the box.

The last time we played him as a striker was pre season when he scored a hat trick. Having read loads of your posts about Billy Sharp I understood you counted pre season goals as proper ones. More to the point, he was signed when were in league 1 and has been a loyal servant and played a part in getting us up. He's a decent player who's abilities sadly aren't seen by people who think that the likes of sharp and Chaplow are decent. Oh and he's not on £20k pw.

Blimey, you got a cracking deal there.
-
But what did they fit? Most cheap deals use ferroli or similar and fail after a few years. Often it's a case of Buy cheap and pay twice.

Price the parts on euro car parts and allow 25% discount for readily available discount codes. Labour should be half an hour per side, so £40 or so.

The best boiler on the market is probably a vaillant ecotec, but read on. The second best is not a Worcester Bosch. The heat exchangers are not what they were. I've fitted them in developments and won't bother again. Buy a Heatline capriz plus. Heatline were sh!t until Vaillant bought them. Some of their range are still run offs from the old era but the capriz plus is an ecotec in a different box but at half the price. The prices will go up as developers are fitting them in most new builds and refurbs so get in quick. The 28 is fine in a 3 bed, 2 bathroom house and can be found for £500 inc flue. Its ecotec cousin costs more than a grand.

They've got 2 players banned for the next 3 league games following Saturdays red cards. My guess is they'll want to save their better backups for the weekend and will be forced to play some youngsters.
-
It'll be a reserve team, no doubt pretty much like most above have picked. Out of interest, why have so many people picked squad players but thrown in Rodriguez and/or Jwp rather than any other first teamer? Seems odd to single them out.

There's no obligation to get a structural engineer on any job. He will need building control to pass the job. In doing that and/or getting consent he will need to submit full details of the job. If a steel is needed then he'll need to submit calculations. An engineer need not do that and many competent architects/planners and even some builders will do steel calcs. I've submitted my own calcs (done with assistance) and building control then did their own checks to satisfy themselves. On insulation, yes there's a lot needed but a "u" rating isn't that difficult to calculate and again many competent architects/planners/builders can do them if you can't do it yourself. There really isn't a need to use an architec and structural engineer on any domestic building job of this size - the right person will be able to do it all.

Nobody can you give you price without seeing the site, and preferably the drawings. We could be looking at 1m footings, or 2m. We could be going into clay. What's the new pitched roof being tied to? What's the score with drains? Get a builder round and let him price.

7 He'll feature. And score. Plus we'll win 2-1 Probably

But you don't know if it was raised years ago. These things were dismissed back then. That said, I do wander if it's really in the public interests to prosecute 30 years or whatever down the line.
