...and as long as we stay up and the money keeps coming they have succeeded. It's always been like that. 17th achieves this and anything else is a bonus. The only problem with 17th, for example, is the fans are usually disgruntled but they are not as important as the business plan as far as the board is concerned.

It all hinges on staying up. That's all that matters.

Exactly. We were supposed to be self sustaining, but that relied on us buying good players, selling them at a profit and replacing with EQUALLY good players. NOT BARGAIN BASEMENT MISFITS. Complacency and arrogance set kin about 3 years ago and that is why we are in a mess.
