Why laugh at city? Looks likely they will finish 4th, qualify for the Champions League and then be able to attract the best players in the world that have previously turned them down because they want CL football

More that no bugger wants it!

How do you predict saint's match results?
saint_stevo replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
away from home it alll depends on the pitch really........ -
imagine in the shower after, JT swanning round, what if he has a bigger **** than Bridge does? In all seriousness, with Terry in the squad, Bridges position was untenable IMO. Say Bridge and Terry both go for the same ball and the opposition score, the nation would say it was because of the scandal etc. Not disappointed with Bridge at all. Terry is a **** though

Set for the seasonal objective of top 4? A real bugger eh

I have enjoyed the JPT, but its pretty worthless. But then i went to Swindon and to Wycombe, so my travels have been like nailing my helmet to a burning building. Its easy to aspire to something, more difficult to achieve it

I paid my £5er, i have my point of view. Great thread though, by the way

We lost, they were/are better than us. Get over it. Would be an embarrasment if we went through on default now anyway.

Do you even go to games? -
ok to clarify, my revised view... On a tricky pitch Southampton did well to earn a point against 'plucky' Wycombe. In a game of few chances, Wycombe probably edged it with only a fantastic Davis save tipping a spectacular effort over via the crossbar. In a rare forray forwards, Adam Lallana was very unlucky to completely miss the target from 8 yards with only the keeper to beat. The visitors played the conditions well, often lumping the ball hopefully forwards in the vein hope the disinterested looking Lambert would win the flick on and Barnard would still fail to get onto the end of it. The pitch was a great leveller, and neither team could get it out wide or fully adapt due to the severe weather conditions and obvious dodgy referee. Paul Wotton stood out massively in this untidy affair..... Good point!
