...provided of course neither he nor a Prem club think he's got another season in him
-
George Boateng perhaps? Getting on a bit but could definately add a lot to the team in my opinion
-
i.e - betting on Leeds would be very misleading right now because you'd have to include the possibility of them being promoted as well as the possibility that they won't be
-
Guys, they haven't even included the teams who might be going up as a result of the playoffs etc. We're only favourites out of the 5 teams that are certain/highly, highly probable to compete in this division next year.
-
If Huddersfield did lose we'd be a point closer than I think we all expected us to be. As I think we all expected us to beat Oldham and them to beat Stockport. It'd be nice to go to Gillingham with a bit of hope at least
-
West Ham will stay up on account of Hull and Burnley's ****ness (i'm not even sure they'll need any more points) and I think a fair few of their fans are still keeping faith with Zola.
-
The main problem was essentially that we wasted the first 45 minutes of football playing hoof-ball to Lambert. After that, Oldham sensed that we could be held as we had very little else to offer. The CM pairing DIDN'T WORK. Wotton isn't good enough and Hammond runs around a lot but isn't a creative player at all. Puncheon was terrible and Lallana not much better. And Lambert and Barnard are good but are reliant on service as neither have much pace or dribbling skill. Soooooooo essentially the only option was the hoof ball up to Lambert, which Oldham didn't have much difficulty dealing with. Antonio should have played without a doubt but if we learn anything from tonight its that central midfield needs way more strengthening.

I thought it was definately a bit harsh, maybe worth appealing against just to see what we can do - especially as their player seemed to whack him one in the replay
-
I don't think anyone really thought that catching Colchester was gonna be a problem. Come on Saints get that goal!!!!!
-
Come on Saints, lets make sure we get that first goal
-
It aint over yet guys, come on, lets try and keep the hopes up for the lads. A draw against Colchester and a defeat against Exeter away isn't all that unlikely. Nevertheless, I do fear that our season will end in the depths of Kent
-
One positive thing we can say IF Huddersfield even draw against Millwall on Friday THEN IT IS IN OUR HANDS TO FORCE THIS INTO A FINAL DAY now that should definately inspire all our players
-
Maybe because they've got the best home defence in the entire league? Its kinda worrying, but we'll have an absolute mass of Saints fans there - should be a riot
-
Everyone hope Exeter fall back into the relegation zone so that they've got something to play for against Huddersfield on the last day!!!!!!
-
I'm still well behind us doing Papa's dance to the tune of the Macarena 1 Papa 2 Papa 3 Papa Waigo etc.etc.etc.
-
Guys...this is embarrassing
-
I've been - and it just didn't quite sink in. Its hard to imagine what happened when the grass is green and the birds are singing etc. I don't think anyone can quite get their head around what happened without seeing it
-
I have many pet hates, but one that crowns them all is that ****ing faggot of a cheerleader on the pitch with the mic before the game.

Jaidi + Fonte = the new Svensson + Lundekvam ?

haha - a slight exaggeration but they do look like a great partnership that could possibly even last us into the higher reaches of the champo -
Should the Wembley tickets have been delivered to people already?

Taken

Brilliant!!!

All that the original poster said was true but lets just hope and prey that teams above us mistakenly think of Lambert - big fat **** thats a L1/Champo player at best and only scores headers and pens Schneiderlin - DMF who offers nothing going forward and scores no goals so cant be that great Harding - average LB who was released from a c/ship club Lallana - ok in League 1 but no better than a helluva lot of academy players in Prem clubs who could make it in the Prem in the Wilshere/Ramsey mould (also he's not even that young anymore) Hammond - average lower league player who's never come close to playing in the Premiership Honestly I actually think that these players staying here is mostly conditional to them not getting spotted and slipping under the radar than it is to what we do to keep them here, but i fortunately think that *THE ABOVE* is what a lot of other teams will mistakenly think of them
-
*oops* ...less than a win will make the fantastic wins against Norwich and Walsall meaningless
