Good grief, that proved me wrong - I thought starting with Guly against Millwall was a mistake, as he's easily wound up with niggling tackles and aggression. Come oooon yooou reeeds!!!

Brilliant... especially loved the alternative view hahaha. "Who are we, who are we, who are we..."
-
Woah.... anyone else disturbed by the weird half-time elevator interlude music from Barnsley's 'tators? Now a Scottish version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.....
-
Get in!! Weirdly I heard no celebration at all from Saints fans... but can just make out "yeeeellllows" (I'm on Barnsley tators)
-
By 'eck, luvly stuff, ta Adam.

I'll be watching the Leeds game at Nevada Smith's in NYC, unless anyone has a better venue.
-
Fair enough, we place Mark Chamberlain in a 'protective' full body cast for a month....

No stream for iphone Commentary was started on the wrong game/team numerous times last season Audio has improved but still has issues Customer support doesn't exist (only the billing team responds to confirm they have your money) Its a helpful resource for those overseas but if you're in the UK you can probably do better. I'm hoping to find a ay to bypass this nonsense this season.

Championship games on TV US/Canada
NY Saint replied to doggface's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Wasn't happy when Fox, who already charge a premium for the Soccer Channel, decided to split the games between their premium channel and a ...er... new premium premium (oxymoron surely) channel "Soccer+." Will probably host the televised game at my place and invite the two or three American's I've converted into Saints fans over the course of the last ten years, and might invite a Leeds fan we met the other day. Running low on Britsnacks from my last trip home though so we'll see. Looking forward a good season, expectations are for a mid table finish, anything higher will be exciting. COYR -

Championship games on TV US/Canada

Fair point, I was able to watch our games three times on TV last year (Man Utd, Peterborough, and Sheffield Wednesday) but only just realized that two of those were internet broadcasts we streamed to a TV from a laptop. Quite fancy a trip out to IN - I may have a lot of travel coming up in the next year of so and with any luck it will all coincide. Likewise, if you're ever over here during games you've a host waiting. -

Coverage of Championship is marginally better than League One but not much. We did well to draw United in the cup in the last few years, but generally its a spartan showing. Have a look at http://www.livesoccertv.com/schedules/ as it tends to give a good indication of what's likely to be on. Its not always 100% but its close. -

Yeah, I noticed I was a little taller at my desk today then realised my cheeks were squeezed together. Was crazy here last night - people screaming and yelling until very early. Ventured briefly into Times Square but I heard WTC was packed with partying. Looking forward to next week - I'm in Kingsland section 32 - Row B seats 833-837 (sorry for all that in one reply - only one post left today)

I think the lad on justin.tv - has his stream working.
-
Super Kelvin Davis!! Fantastic stuff. Great all round team this season, solid defense and goals scored from all over the place. This is how it should be at League 1 level. COYR!
-
Hopefully Guly isn't badly injured - otherwise we've only got Stephens and McNish as backup in the final couple of games.
-
COYR - 3 Pts for Jack White. Big day for Brighton as well as its their last at the Withdean.
-
Time to throw on Butterfield for Lallana and Forte for Connolly... the Brentford and Plymouth games are the ones I'm really nervous about....
-
Had no idea! Brilliant. Thanks very much. Definitely beats listening to Dean Windass at whatever ground he's droning about or John Salako's over enthusiastic Southampton are in front... not realizing the goal was disallowed today ha.
-
COYR - making us nervous again. I've not felt like since the relegation run-ins during the Premier League days. Not so confident in the ability of those on the bench to make an impact like Lallana or Connolly... N'Guessen or Forte both have pace and can score goals though... jeezuz I'm overthinking this aaaaah.

Skip to page 3 and read from "how long left? 78 mins?" Its the alternate reality of being in our match thread yesterday prior to the 78s minute.

Saintsplayer's commentary was incredibly unreliable for me, but the highlights when there is no coverage of anything beyond PL and Champions league here is fantastic. If you have an iPhone and don't mind watching the highlights on your phone the Football League app is worth the subscription, for me at least. Portable Saints goals on demand -yes please. Now if only there was a "Saints being able to put the ball in the net more efficiently" app... Football League show is a joke particularly the fans corner... which I watched once and skipped over. I take it there are no salient points a la 606 phone in... Oh.

Right nothing happening for us at the moment, lets try and inspire it with a pointless-reference-to-players-that-no-longer-play-for-us #STOKE GOAL Kenwyne-Jones meets Delap's long throw with a header. Reported by Le Tiss on Sky Sports.... its aaaaaaaaall Southampton, Southampton FC.. Skacel just scored his 12th of the season for Hearts! (twelve)... incredible.
