  1. So far I've only been able to create one playlist on my Xbox 360, not sure why that is, rather strangely. All Saints chants, and a few oppo insults "You fat ba$tard," onto one playlist which makes things a little odd when we score and our fans chant "who are ya are" Ricky hah. Lowering the crowd volume works nicely as well, good suggestion cheers. Thanks to everyone that contributed, recorded and uploaded the chants, its makes the game a little more fun for people like myself who live overseas, can't get to our games very often and can just about make out the chants on the commentary. Cheers. My Xbox gamertag is Britrock if anyone fancies a game or adding me. Cheers.
  2. LOL Turkish has found two niche markets to target this weekend and have a good moan. Sounds like you'd be better off listening to the games at home perhaps with your eyes shut. Hope you enjoyed the win yesterday dude.
  3. A good solid performance with a lot of shots at goal, dominated an opposition and finally made the dominance pay off with a win. More of that please.
  4. Rickie's back!!! Woohoo.
  5. Morning all (or whatever time zone you're in) On Fox Soccer channel, which we pay extra for, we have an infomercial for a tool that chops vegetables... so pretty much the same as the Sheff Wed game. On the ultra premium, meaning you have to pay even more, Fox Soccer Channel Plus they are showing rugby. Magic. Enjoy the commentary, three points please. Think I'll get back to packaging ebay items I'm selling.... and listen for the trusty Sky Sports Live audio report.
  6. Great post Tim, and thanks for posting the Davies demolition. Siddenham was lightening fast and his crossing was fantastic stuff, especially as they beat the likes of Best, Charlton and Law.
  7. Yes, I think we managed to successfully throw everyone off the scent on that one. Watching Sunderland playing Man United off the park, very entertaining. This week's excuse is United's dressing room was flooded. LOL.
  8. I'm off to buy a lottery ticket I think, bought one last week and we won, and happy to contribute any form of bizarre habit to ensure this season gets back on track. COYR!! RLPM (Rickie Lambert Penalty Machine... )
  9. Lovely stuff. Let's hope RLGM is back.
  10. Sadly nothing - the forum has lost any real sense of what Saintsforever used to be and I rarely check the board anymore. Matchdays I nip in to see what the banter is but suggesting we pay a similar fee to the Saintsplayer is a little obscene in my opinion.
  11. Heron Island, barrier reef - Saints 1-0 Spurs, Leeds 1-0 Saints and Saints 4-2 Chelsea. On an island with no internet access for a week. Cost me $15 in Mobile WAP charges on my crappy phone but well worth it to see the Chelsea result. Fantastic stuff!!

  13. Phew! Held off posting in case it jinxed us but I'll take the three points - a nice little birthday gift. COYR
  14. That's a criminal act unless you support University of Wisconsin.
  15. Played approx 15 - 20 games on the demo on the level below World Class and its still tricky. The AI intercepts the ball a lot more efficiently than in the pass which means lots more interaction and careful passing will be required. Passing is more difficult with accuracy, pace of pass and player ability affecting the pass reaching its target. Individual player attributes are definitely a factor this time around - Pique for Barca/Spain is spot on in his aggression and never-say-die attitude. Frustratingly its harder to dribble around players and not have them tackle back and steal the ball. My prediction is fewer rather than more goals will be scored because its harder to get close to the goal to shoot. The goal keeper was fun to play with in the demo and conceivably will be great fun for ten minutes in the Your Player career mode (forgotten what it was called in Fifa 10) but can't see it being interesting waiting for something to happen for long... unless I shout "Rush goalie" and make a charge up for every corner or playing as a sweeper Fifa 11 is slightly better than the Fifa 2010 World Cup game which felt very 'arcade' in its playing style and more challenging than Fifa 10. We'll see if I end up buying this as well lol. Blimey hadn't realised how much of a nerd I was until this and the Halo post haha. Feel free to add this boring, games nerd Saints-fan on Xbox 360 - Britrock
  16. Picked up a rental copy last night - hacked through 3-4 hours worth of covenant playing on heroic. Not sure if I've played too many other FPS games in the past few years, but it doesn't feel as though Halo has evolved, which is a good and bad thing. Needless to say I doubt I'll be consumed by the desire to rank up like I was in CoD MW2, and the campaign still has a poignancy that other FPS games don't. The audio is superb, colours are darker and many of the easy kills have been reduced. The Elites seemer harder to take down, weapons have been altered and I dare say the storyline and future elements of it will draw me in, the way my first encounter with The Flood did but so far (four levels in) its still the same game I was playing earlier this decade. So I've matured a little and am growing out of video games finally. Or perhaps that will change as the game evolves. I'm now itching to play again but am working from home and will resist until this evening. Probably.
  17. Just got a reply, was killing time shopping with girlfriend, apparently they only have the live show during the week - weekend is when they have their own live show.
  18. FSC has a fairly responsive Twitter account - happy to ask the question if you don't have an account?
  19. When Mum said she was picking some up for the annual care package of Britsnacks, I had this fantastic flashback to rhubarb and custard hard sweets.. but alas I have to report that the Jammie Dodgers with Custard are not great, and taste really artificial. Perhaps my tastebuds have mellowed over time, getting older and living with a different diet in the US but I also don't particularly enjoy Monster Munch. Frazzles are still out of this world and I salivate just thinking about them. Enough distraction and positivity, time to sit in front of PC hoping Saints can pull off a win.
  20. Mills on for Connolly - Adkins new strategy, avoid defeat and play for a draw at MK Dons... *Gulp* this is going to be a painful season.
  21. Ha - not me m'lord. Was too busy dreaming of goals ...and rather weirdly being a chiropodist at a camel farm.
  22. *Yawns* back from an afternoon nap - anything happen since Lewis Guy's volley? Despite no one scoring and apparently someone is learning Photoshop...
  23. Come on Saints! I'm looking for a good morning of remembrance, 3 points to get revenge for Swindon last year and the cup win, a good win for Iowa State vs. rivals Iowa and the Charlatans show in a tiny little venue in Hoboken. Tired of hearing we're playing well and dominating without scoring.
  24. I've been to four Red Bulls Games this season, pace of the game and the atmosphere is odd but its still an opportunity to watch football. Most bizarre is the response to a corner kick - the entire stadium erupts as though they are expecting a goal. I also watch the preseason games with Man City and Spurs. Bale looked good in preseason as did Robbie Keane. Craig Bellamy was considered the "abusive child" the entire tour getting into trouble of some sort every night according to a friend at City. Bridge isn't well regarded or liked and it showed. No one chatted with him and they want rid of him.
  25. Flew over for a week and took my ex-wife to my first game at St. Marys and her first Saints game. She spent so long deciding what food she wanted at half-time that I watched the start of the second half on a TV on the concourse - and that's how I experienced Fabrice Fernandez goal. Hence an ex-wife.
