It's exciting, even though it's been a short week it's bloody well dragged hasn't it? Tomorrow will be unbearable trying to work... Bring.it.on

To be fair, apart from the first game of the season, if a neutral had watched our live games after that, they'd be sat there thinking ''how the **** are they top?". But it's not because of TV, the games on TV just feel during our injury crisis and dips in form. We should be well up for Friday though. Can't wait.

Here go the agents. He's not been great for M'Boro to be honest, but he flopped in the premiership for wolves too. Wouldn't see him as an improvement to our right-side.

Well finally I have my ticket 12 days after ordering, the royal mail decided it would be a good idea to post it to another house on another street. Thankfully the guys were honest enough to bring it up to me earlier today. So thanks to them!

Oh well, never mind. Not very critical though is he?

Tuesday's matches, inc. Brighton v Reading (1945 KO)

You cannot look at it as simplistic as that. Derby games create an even playing field, it was never a case of top facing bottom 3. It was level from the moment we kicked off. Generally they are ****, but a Derby gives you an extra % and that got them through - although I still think we took the **** at times against them. 2 wonder goals, albiet with too much space. -
Mcanuff (sp?) took a knock as well, but I expect he'll be ok. Last night will have taken a huge amount out of them though. I wouldn't have felt confidet about a game straight after Leeds away, due to how much we had to withstand. Luckily we had a week until our next match. Reading have 3 days. That's a huge factor IMO.

Teams will create chances against us. If you're now starting to moan if a team has a chance against us then you have no clue. Last night for example, the amazing, fantastic, breathtaking Reading side were taken to the cleaners by Brighton and we well battered in terms of possession and chances against, but they held on. Like we did at Leeds.

They will be absolutely desperate to go 3 points clear of us, make no doubts about that. A win against us will pretty much win the league for them due to the 2 home games they have directly after. This is huge for both teams. -
To be honest, thinking about it - we need to win this for the title. No other result will really do. Reading have 2 very winnable home games after us (Home to Forest and then Palace). I'd expect them to easily pickup 6 points there, and we've got 2 tricky away games @ P'Boro and M'Boro. So a win for us takes the pressure of those games, slightly, but a draw or a defeat hands the gauntlet into Readings hands you'd have to say.

WHU should win it, but I've said that about their last 8 home games. Brighton are all style but no substance. -
This game is such a great setup, probably the best choice of a live champ match Sky have made for ages - It means so much for both sides. We're a big game team though, with big game players. Reading should be worried, and by the ease Brighton took them apart tonight then we have to be confident. Hopefully they've used all their luck up tonight.

Draw wouldn't be the end of the world, it would still be all in our hands. But I feel that if we really want the league, then we'll need to knock points off them.

Goodbye Portsmouth.

FT. All over. Huge result. WHU will be sick tonight, it's almost all over now. The title is another matter! Round 1 starts on friday... -

You'll have to wonder just how much mentally and physically this game will have taken out of Reading. They've been bombarded. -

Every time you hear Brighton might have a sniff, the 2nd part is always ''What a header by Gorkks/Pearce". -
