  1. He's always been a midfield from what I read (and FM ) I'd imagine he's playing in an AMC role.
  2. and I also find it quite crazy that people expect us to be beating teams in the top 10, even though we've just been promoted. We weren't going to win every flaming week. There is nothing to moan about in terms of being a Saints fan at the mo, it's just fantastic to watch and to still see us top of the league. That's not the be all and end all for me, a top 6 finish would be a fantastic return to the championship. Let's not all get ahead of over selves.
  3. There's no apparently about it, I find it really irritating how you seem to belittling peoples opinions which were gleaned from WATCHING the game. Why one earth didn't you?
  4. Yep thanks for the link guys - worked really well (the web based one was the best option for me) Pretty clear too.
  5. Those stats are a fair reflection from what I saw. From 20mins onwards we dominated the ball and used is so well. Lambert was a constant thorn in their side and looks so at ease in the championship which is great to see. Also thought Fonte was an absolute beast today, he won most in the air when they punted it long.
  6. FT - Great performance that. Really tough ground to go to this season, not many have got anything there. We battered them pretty much, should have won it but we couldn't get passed the players on their goal line! There's nothing wrong with our form at the mo, we might not be winning every week (we wouldn't have kept that going all season) but we're still creating **** loads of chances. I think you start to worry if you stop creating chances....but we are constantly at it.
  7. jesus, another great chance. Derby defender blocks it...
  8. Lambert yes! Great finish....we can win this from here. From all the work derby have put in defending, they will be absolutely ruined.
  9. At the first sign of some poor form, out come the predictable posters.
  10. Really good stuff from us. I missed the start so didn't see the goal we conceded, but from what I've watched it's relentless. Chance after chance, some beuaitful football and a couple of fantastic saves from their GK. They are literately hanging on and defending for their lives at times. If we keep this up and our fitness shows, we'll get something out of this game for sure.
  11. Seriously, find another sport to follow as football clearly gives you no enjoyment.
  12. It doesn't suit his agenda though mate, so he has to find a way to counteract it.
  13. I've not said it's just another of those days, i've not said we've had bad luck. I've just said we're playing well, 42mins into the game. Sorry if that offended you. ****.
  14. What the **** are you on about? How am i clueless? I can see we're playing well, sorry that does not suit your agenda. If we keep playing like this we'll get at least a goal. You're not watching or listening to the game, so there is no way you can put any input into this thread other than your tedious attention-seeking drivel.
  15. another good chance there, free kick blocked - fell to chappers, who put it over. This is utterly ridiculous pressure from us. Just relentless.
  16. Agreed, totally battering them without scoring at the mo. It will come if we keep this up.
  17. I'm watching the game, I can see we're playing well. You're probably not, so your opinion does not count.
  18. how the feck have we not equalized, this is relentless from us. Awesome performance bar the goal.
  19. We're playing pretty well to be fair.
  20. They're leading already.
  21. They're still as deluded as ever then. Good to hear.
  22. I would imagine it's a diamond. Guly at the tip of it, Morgan sitting with Cork left side central, and Chappers right side central. Get the full backs to bomb on, which both are great at doing, and it could work well.
  23. Good to see Conners back!
  24. Gutted for Holmes to be honest. I can't see him having much of a career anymore in the top leagues anymore, he just cannot stay fit for more than a couple of games. He'll drift to the lower leagues after this year unfortunately, frustrating as he is decent when he's fit - but he just isn't ever fit. Lallana is a blow, losing him will make us so much weaker, there's no other way to dress that up. Teams don't look better because their best player is out...so we'll do well to still be in the top 2 after the next few games. We do have cover...but no ''Lallana'' - he's the guy that dictates how we play, opens teams up, attacks players etc. We do not have anyone else that can do that which is a bit worrying, but there isn't really anyone of that level who'd be happy to be backup if lallana does get injured...
  25. I don't get your point..? We can bring in backups if we want.
