    No Lallana !

Blessing in disguise for me. Not bothered at all. Gives him a summer to get over his niggling injuries and come back fresh and ready to take the leauge by storm.
  2. I'd expect Bothroyd to be picked up by a relegated team, or even a promoted championship team. Could prob do a job in the prem tbh Chris Burke isn't too bad a player, not sure how he's been recentley though.
  3. This is what i mean, expectations are being raised to stupid levels. Mid-table is fine for next year. I'm not saying that's all we strive for, but it's not a faluire if we don't get promotion or top 6 next year.
  4. I just hope we don't get idiots calling for change if we're not challenging next season, that would really be a bonus if I'm honest. There's no harm in going out and trying to get promoted but it's not a ''must'' for next year at all and the last thing we need is expectations raised to stupid levels before the seasons even started! Mid-table is fine, anything else is a bonus.
  5. I thought that about Boro, but then I read about their financial situation and the players that will have to leave in the summer. Top 6 challengers I reckon, but not top 2.
  6. I'm not bricking it, i'm bloody looking forward to it. No more mid-week trips to daggenham and redbridge/yeovil/rochdale and instead trips to West Ham, Forest, Ipswich (possibly Reading) etc. The champinship is going to be an amazing league to be involved in next year, it's so strong. You could probably say that 75% of the leauge fancy themsevles with a top 6 chance.
  7. Agreed, people predicted that Newcastle would implode when they came down and get relegated again. They ended up walking the league.
  8. Blackpool?!?!?! How have they managed that...? Fair play league?
  9. Saying he's injury prone is an understaement, he's perminatley injured and will probably retire. I really think we need to be looking past these ''big name'' injury prone players looking for one last payday. Talented young players that can grow with the club is the direction we should be looking in.
  10. Christ, it's going to be a long summer.
  11. The amount of **** that pours out of your mouth beggars belief.
  12. I hope we're in for Wright, quality player.
  13. The good thing is, the longer this uncertainty goes on the worse it'll be for them next season in terms of a playing squad. I'd love to actually do a 4-1 over them next year.
  14. It feels nice watching it knowing we've done our job! Sod being involved in these, I couldn't take it.
  15. yep, bompey were 3-2 up for about 3mins
  16. now its 3-3 (4-4) what a game this is
  17. blimey, bompey are now winning
  18. Surprised we haven't heard anything about Dan Harding yet actually, his contract is up...
  19. and BWP to Torres. those were the days...
  20. He was on loan originally, but then we signed him in January on a 2 1/2 year deal for something like 50k. Total bargain
  21. Can't moan about that, perfect deal for all parties really. I doubt he'll be used as much next season but he's still a great experienced head to have around the place.
  22. TBH I don't know why people go so over the top on it. If they announce something - good! If they don't - oh well, never mind. Plenty of time in the summer to hear lots of news and it's way too early to be getting worked up.
  23. Cardiff could be screwed now IMO. Massively in debt and took a huge gamble this year keeping hold of Whittingham, Chopra etc and bringing in the likes of Ramsey and Bellamy on loan who wouldn't have been cheap. They've totally screwed up with the players they had over the course of the season.
  24. Dale isn't a bad player. He wasn't spectacular in his time with us but he didn't have a massive amount of chances to impress and make his mark, as we had a pretty settled group of players. He's obviously got talent to work with in the glimpses I saw of him. I reckon he's one of these players that will become a decent NPC midfielder playing for a rival club if we miss out on him. We've slagged players off before that aren't crap as proven by their success at other clubs. I'd be happy with him signing. (if that's what it turns out to be)
  25. Absoloute class CB. Took a while to get going for Reading but he could hold his own in the PL IMO. Such a shame he wasn't given the games here as he's now one of the best CBs in the champ.
