I do agree with that. We had lots of individual talent, but it was poorly managed collectivley. Looking back now, a team with the likes of Skacel, Bale, Jones, Baird.....should have easily been challenging for an automatic spot, no sneaking into the playoffs. I'd take Baird Bale and Jones from that team, but we've now got players like Lallana and Chambo who are on a different level than the likes of Dyer and Viafara etc.

Thank god for that, the sooner he's gone the better. Nice little cash injection for us too.

Parking at the stadium is harsh, but makes sense. He's a business man and you have to exploit all the ways you can to generate money. I know people that used to park at St Mary's and walk into town for the afternoon, and it makes sense to me that this shouldn't be allowed to happen anymore.... Ticket tax? i guess you mean the £3 booking fee? It's pretty much in-line with every event, concerts etc. I don't see a massive issue with this. It wasn't overpriced...I don't get people saying that at all. £16 for 3 45min games, a free fair for the family etc. That fair wouldn't have been cheap to organize and hire for the day, so they're not just going to give it away. £16 is a snip for what was offered IMO. The last point was a long long long time ago, and it was reversed as ti was admitted it was a mistake. Fair play to him, see no issue with that now.

Name the mistakes he's made recently?

Hope we get this sorted soon. I've not seen much of him, but judging by the interest from the level of clubs...we'd be pulling of something of a coup. (I never thought I'd say that about beating Stoke to a player tbf, but it's true atm...) He's probably just as good as Matt Mills, maybe slightly better, yet i bet he costs 5 times less than Mills did. This is what you have to do.....there are some absolute gems in European football and if you have the scouting network, you can build one hell of a team with very little outlay. WBA did it a few years back getting the likes of Texiera, Cesar, Koren, Mulumbu, Tamas etc...
-
Played in the middle game, not against us though. Didn't think much of him on that performance though tbf.
-
Got the same size as the sash from last year, perfect fit.
-
I guess, going by your name - you're a bit more aware of him than most English fans?
-
We were never ever going to challenge for the champions league though, it was probably a little nativity at the time that made them think it was possible - that's fairy tale stuff really and requires a massive amount of money, which I cant see us spending. So being a team that finishes between 6-10 in the premiership is fine with me. I think even that is probably slightly above our level, I'd say in reality at best we're a mid-table prem club (14/15th etc).
-
Got any names? Didn't ever see Lambo leaving, I think he's genuinely settled here and in the area. Not moaning at The9 though, he's only passing on what he's heard.
-
Not good enough IMO, underwhelmed.
-
He's just a very passionate and driven man. Name me a director or a boss that is loved by all of their employees? He's going to rub people up the wrong way (that's the nature of his position) but he's getting the results, you cannot deny that. So I'm happy and I'd think the majority of the support base is happy.

He did mention spasm in one of his interviews, back at ya.
-
You've hit on the point there....the people that are ''against'' the club at the moment are those who have had their access and special treatment removed. It's no longer a family club to them because of that. Now we're a professionally run brand. (with a very successful football team that some people seem to forget)
-
There isn't anything wrong at the club that's worth talking about. Enjoy it, because if you can't - you'll never enjoy supporting saints.
-
Davis is number one and will stay number 1. But we're very lucky to have someone like Bart in backup, who seems content to wait for his time.
-
I think it's just an excuse to moan tbh. There is very little wrong at this football club these days, we're in a fantastic place. So you'll get these very menial debates over nothing of real importance. Bring on the season, please.
-
He was at St Mary's on saturday though:
-
If he was going anywhere he wouldn't have just signed a new 3 year deal. He's got a back spasm, will train again tomorrow and will be in the starting 11 for WBA.
-
I "think" (correct me if I'm wrong someone) that it was Aaron Racine - the young academy CB.
-
He has been told he can leave by Bruce, so this comes as no surprise. If true, the fee does though....way inflated for a player that was abysmal for Doncaster last season. I'm confident there's a good player in there (as he showed at Sheff U and Leeds) but I wouldn't pay £2m based on last seasons showing.
-
Yeah, Adkins was quite clear in that De Ridder can play anywhere across the front...on the shoulder/in behind etc. I think he's our alternative striker, and also our alternative winger. 2 players in 1 i guess.
-
He seems a lovely lad. really down to earth...look forward to seeing him play! (poss Wednesday?)
-
Has it been confirmed then? Can't see it anywhere..
